..because he's done that at every show so far.."turning the back of the room to the front" maybe so that the people standing far away from the stage get a closer look as well...

yeah, he did that on every show of their european tour in 2008 i think.

After they left the stage and people screaming for an encore he appeared at the mixing desk and stood there singing "Untitled". and then after finishing the song, while pierre had to go back to the stage david played this whoa-song with the crowd until pierre returned. ;)
