Loved looking at the dinner table of all the good food. I'm from KY now living in VA and we always had garden fresh sliced tomatoes (and onions) to compliment our meals. Especially green beans!

Yes, my daughter has been driving since she was about 12 or 13--not out on the street, but she got her permit at age 16 to drive. And that is my son-in-law, Chris, holding Remy! Thanks for your questions, Brad!

What a great video! It reminded me of family gatherings we used to have at my grandma's. She lived in La Grange, outside of Louisville. We had so many family gatherings just like yours, with all the family we could get together and wonderful Southern food. I really miss her and going to her house.

Yes, gatherings like this remind us all of fond memories we have of growing up in a big family. Our get-togethers used to be at my Mom and Dad's house, but I lost my mother when I was 25 and my father when I was 27. That has brought my siblings closer to me over the years, because we all look back with fondness on those years we had with our parents. Somehow, food has always been a uniting factor! My husband picked out the car, but it belongs to both of us. I usually drive a Honda Accord, and he usually drives a Toyota Tacoma truck. The Crossfire is just for fun! Regarding the popsicles, maybe you could make them in an ice cube tray? they would be messy to eat, unless you have popsicle sticks...

That's right (about my daughter, Chlesea, and her husband, Chris--and my sweet, good-natured husband, Rick)! With regard to the menu, I won't be able to remember half of it, but we had Ritz cracker chicken, baked ham, green beans, fresh corn, broccoli casserole, mashed potato casserole, sawdust salad, melon salad, fruit salad, yeast rolls, blakemore peas, several desserts, and cold sodas. (I know I'm forgetting something.) It was great--and I didn't cook at all that day!

You have got to tell has how you lost the pregnancy weight, and any other weight loss tip you can share. I have two kids, and am struggling with trying to lose the weight I gained from my back-to-back pregnancies.

So do tell us your secret to staying slim and fit please.

My secret to staying trim is to eat lots of fruits and vegetables and tuna. There is nothing that is off limits, but I eat "unhealthy" foods in small portions--that is the key--"portion control." I have told several people that I accomplish this by eating a whole apple when I want a big piece of chocolate fudge cake, and after the apple I cut myself only a small sliver of cake--I don't feel like I'm deprived at all! I just never allow myself to go wild and eat a lot! Hope this helps!
