nice video, but the string only winds once or twice around the plastic piece with the hole before it is in tune... i see most guitars have the string wound around many times, what does it mean?
@Fluffy918 I'll explain a lot of people keep slack (extra string) and keep rolling it and rolling thats why it looks like its wound around so many times. The tutorial I show you makes it to where you don't have to wrap the string around so many times it makes it look a lot nicer, but also remember it takes a while for nylon strings to keep there tune so you will wrap them a couple of times more until they set which could take 24hrs.
when I say set I mean keep in tune. That said this tutorial also shows you how to lock the string as shown in 6:19 that is very important. Locking that string allows you to not have to keep rolling and rolling all that access string just make sure the string doesn't come loose. If you have any other questions let me know I'll be happy to answer them if you want pics of how it looks after its all done I'll be more then happy to email you a few. just let me know. Thanks for the comment
I heard it is better to have many rolls around that plastic bit than fewer, but I dont really know. My E A and D strings would slowly get flat, but the G B and E nylon strings would get nearly a whole step flat after 5-10 minutes. I realize I gotta wait a couple days till they stretch out, but it is a pain when trying to learn a new song :P Maybe I will put up my rendition of Circle of Eternity after I learn it. Gametabs is a sweet site too, check out composers Nobuo Ematsu and Yasunori Mitsuda
The guitar sounds really beautiful it has a really warm tone to it and is not too overbearing. The music come out really clear and crisp. The pre-amp it has in inside is unique its a piezo/mic combo now you can use the mic while recording to computer like I use which sounds really beautiful but it produces alot of feedback when hooked up to an amp so you will need to turn off the mic when using an amp. Overall I have no problems with this guitar tho I would invest in a bone nut saddle and tuners
Hey vic i just broke a string on my classical last night and this vid helped me alot. I do mine slightly different but this vid helped me get a good basis, thanks a lot for this!

I don't have a hard end and a wiggly one :( Guess that makes it much harder. It keeps curling into a circle.
