its shadow boxing, you dont fully extend your hits unless you want damage your self. its kind of the poormans kickboxing training because punching bags and kicking bags are def. preferred
I always hit the air with my hardest punches and now my joints are damaged badly! I don't shadow box to hard now! It's really sad how I have damaged my joints and now I have to work on my speed and I'm not a power puncher no more!

if you stretch your arm out all the way in shadow boxing (hitting air) you will hyper-extend your elbows.
