Some of the tanks at the end of the video are spanish. Spain evaluated several models to replace their AMX-30s,...and the Leopard2E won hands down (including in the politics arena, the toughest one :). Maybe british challenger 2 has better armour, but as a combination of mobility, firepower and protection, this tank is the best in the world.

The M1 uses a Rheinmetall 120L/44 mm gun which is build under license in US and then called M256 while the new Leo2a6 uses the new 120 mm L/55 which has more firepower. @Friesenmicha Die Gasturbine hat ihre Vorteile..und Nachteile.. Theoretisch kann der Abrams 120 fahren.. ist aber beschränkt.. die Beschleunigung ist auch einmalig.. ebenso wie der hohe Verbrauch ;)

I wonder if people realize that the M1Abrams are built with German MainGuns too. The M1 uses a Rheinmetall 120L/44 mm gun which is build under license in US and then called M256 while the new Leo2a6 uses the new 120 mm L/55 which has more firepower. Well..Looks like in US they can not develope reliable accurate guns and barrels as apparently as there seems the need to rely on German know how and engeneering...LOL

The Leo2 is the best tank in the world!
The Abrams is not better even the US military sais that. And the T90 o the Russian army is no match for the Leo2. Even if russian "experts" say so.

You can't beat German engineering :) I wish my government (Australia) would stop buying second hand shit from the Americans like the Abrams tanks, and actually invest in German weaponry, equipment and armoured vehicles. Then maybe my country could have an up to date and properly equipped army.

@ghgh094 its an MG3 D: .. well ok its quit similar but its not the MG42 ... the orignal stamps has been over stampt :3 ant there were a few changes ... well ok its mostly is the MG42 what can I say never change a working system :3 and it works over 70 years an still is one of the best :D
