This is the first time to hear this part of The Lion King in Japanese, and I liked it! I'm also into Anime as well! ^^

I've searched through the Japanese versions of Disney songs today, and I am thoroughly impressed with all of them. I am an anime fan, but I feel that has nothing to do with this.

Strangely, I find Japanese voices fit into Disney characters more than English voices fit into anime characters. I could seriously kill most English anime voice actors. That aside, Japanese or not, Disney songs are wonderful I'm glad the voices are so fitting in them.

@EerieIceMage Well these are production pieces. I speak Japanese fluently and I hear many annoying Japanese voice actors on anime that English speakers think sound better than English actors. But normally if the anime is a full production like a ghibli movie the voice actors are brilliant in English if not better than the Japanese especially in kiki's dilivery service.

@babynuko Japanese music usually doesn't do much with rhyming - I think because EVERY japanese word ends with a i u e o or n, so it's not very unique if something has the same sound. A lot of Japanese people don't even understand the IDEA of rhyming (believe me, I've tried to explain lol)

This is what i think of Japanese Dubbed Disney movies. This is by far a greatest dub(My personal opinion)

But as for like western American style movies like(Brother bear, Home on the range, and Spirit) I just don't think any language can keep that rustic nostalgic feel.

Sure you can put Osakan slang to give it that country feel. But still it's just feels incomplete to me.
