why FM Einheit has left the EN - Einsturzende Neubauten interview excerpt

I was always curious as to why he left, but I kind of assumed it was for artistic purposes. My favorite footage of Einheit is in Halber Mench where he's beating a mic-ed shopping cart with a metal pipe.  He'd had so many great ideas back then, I really wonder what EN might sound like today if he hadn't left.

It's a pity FM Einheit left the band, but also i think he makes interesting kind of music. And although EN sounds differente now, I still like it.
