When I first played this game and got to Monstro all I could think at first was:

the reason magic hurts the fattys is because fire heats the armor up, blizzard makes the armor very cold, thunder electrocutes it, gravity would make it hard 4 a fatty 2 stand, and in kh2 reflect gives him a taste of his own medicine

Maybe pinnochio went to traverse town because his world was swallowed by darkness and the whale was the only thing left so when maybe sora left or maybe wasn't watching him gheppetto somhow found him and they got swallowed by the whale then their world was swallowed. You have to remember this is Final Fantasy AND Disney logic so its only natural things wont make sense at first, you gotta use your imagination.

@milesmcculloch be sure you do that event with the puppet in traverse town (cant spell it...) Then come here, else wise I doubt it will be there.

Actually, they left pinocchio(sorry if its mispelled) in traverse town to find gepetto, so thats why they were surprised to find pinocchio.
