hows the engine going with the itb's facing into the firewall? i see you've ducted air there, but just asking if it's worth it or not? considering putting a set of ae101 ITB's on my 4age
if im not mistaken the blacktop you can just take of the air cleaner open itbs while the silver top has a air mas sensor and needs to be reworked at the cpu so you can use it open itb too. I not sure right now (im kinda high0 but one of these can rev up to 11,000 rpm , the cool thing its that they can be turbocharged very easely. peace out!!
@shoko15 there are a lot of small differences between the silver and black top; compression (10.5:1 to 11:1), throttle bodies size increased, inlet cam lift increased, air flow sensor replaced with MAP sensor, exhaust ports and inlet ports better (ETC!) they both have vvt. silver top = 155hp approx and black top = 165 approx. 16v gze for the win!
The silver or black top 20v cannot be turbocharged without getting lower compression pistons as far as I know that would be a lot of compression! Still not a very hard job to turbo those engines
@qwertyasdf9090 u can turbo black top but only about 8psi silver top less than 15psi just with fatter gasket but changing pistons will make it bullet proof
WHich version AGE is this, is it blue top, red top or the super rare, super old original 4AGE???

Silvertops don't have VVT only Blacktops do.
