It turns out that John Vickery, Kenshiro's English VA in this video here, went on to play roles in Babylon 5 and Star Trek. He also did the voice Lucifer in the recent Dante's Inferno game.

I kind of do, at least with John Vickery. If you listen to all of his instances of ATATATAs (or BIDIBIDIBIDI in this case) they all sound pretty much the same. I listened to the ones he used on Zeed, Heart, and Jagi during his flashback, and they all sounded identical.
Hell, it's quite a damn feat to be able to do the ATATATATA or in this case, "YATITITITITITITITITITITITITIAH!" in such a fast speed without slurring the words.'
But is true,unfortunately most English dubs for anime are crap,they sound like they are having a beer and reading the papers instead of japanese like,living the anime.
both versions are great and work perfectly in the scene. Kamiya's version is classic and always great to hear. Vickery's version is great as well, there's more of a sense of speed in his "hyakuretsu ken", but i reiterate both versions are great.
@sec0ndevolution I don't believe he meant to prejudice what he meant was that he prefers the original voice acting and feels that an english dub normally ruins the anime/scene, however I may agree with this to an extent some anime are preferably better dubbed.
I gotta agree that the American dub is much better here...But it's one of the few occasions that English dub > Japanese. Usually it's the other way around because English voice actors feel awkward putting genuine emotions into their acting...I will bring up King of Fighters Maximum Impact for proof >.>
the english doesnt beat the japanese. its pretty much equal cause the english doesnt even have the atatatatatata! it has something that sounds like hes saying dee dee's name (from dexters lab) over and over again. so really i can tell you that there are more things here than than how loud they yell. the quality on the enlgish ver is worse. in the japanese you can more clearly see things rather than some red shade (or something) covering everything like in jagis fire on the rooftop scene.
The American guy says it so fast it comes out "dididididi". American dub is ten times better. I always prefer dubbing because Americans just have a better sense for entertainment. That's their industry.

If we're judging this on accuracy alone, the english one is doing its own damn thing and isn't even close. They're not even saying the same thing.
However, Vickery's is the more badass one. At least to me. I feel that it better conveys the absurd speed and effort Ken puts into those strikes.

The Dub version of this is actually quite good.
Hell, it's quite a damn feat to be able to do the ATATATATA or in this case, "YATITITITITITITITITITITITITIAH!" in such a fast speed without slurring the words.'
Give him some slack. :/

both versions are great and work perfectly in the scene. Kamiya's version is classic and always great to hear. Vickery's version is great as well, there's more of a sense of speed in his "hyakuretsu ken", but i reiterate both versions are great.

@sec0ndevolution I don't believe he meant to prejudice what he meant was that he prefers the original voice acting and feels that an english dub normally ruins the anime/scene, however I may agree with this to an extent some anime are preferably better dubbed.

I gotta agree that the American dub is much better here...But it's one of the few occasions that English dub > Japanese. Usually it's the other way around because English voice actors feel awkward putting genuine emotions into their acting...I will bring up King of Fighters Maximum Impact for proof >.>

the english doesnt beat the japanese. its pretty much equal cause the english doesnt even have the atatatatatata! it has something that sounds like hes saying dee dee's name (from dexters lab) over and over again. so really i can tell you that there are more things here than than how loud they yell. the quality on the enlgish ver is worse. in the japanese you can more clearly see things rather than some red shade (or something) covering everything like in jagis fire on the rooftop scene.

The American guy says it so fast it comes out "dididididi". American dub is ten times better. I always prefer dubbing because Americans just have a better sense for entertainment. That's their industry.
