I am a AfricanAmerican married to a Cameroonian and have been watching Africain movies for years now. But this film is powerful, well acted. The intro song I Dont understand but It is moving. I cry when i listen it touches me so much. Please someone tell me what is it she sings.

lets say if this film "i sing of the well" for instance is nominated for the oscars, it will have to compete with other hollywood films which are in english

I think this depicts our culture...nice storyline ....they should have made the film in one of the local dialects...that would have sold it better.... most ghanaian filmmakers dont know that their films will be recognized internationally if they made it in any other language except english
