Great footage and editing.
The joints for this dome are the simplest and perhaps the strongest of the designs i have seen.

no, its galvanized steel tubing. pretty heavy and really strong.

I see you not just had to make the tube edge flat, but also the flatted portion of it need to be in a exact angle with the tube direction.
