    If you buy a tactrix cable (you can find used ones online for around $100)

    Then Google search: 2009 Lancer Ralliart - GST Basemap (Don't worry its for all years) find evolutionm (the first result)

    I did it on my car (Basemap + Boostpill). Now I consistently rip 0-60's in the mid 4's with that and a cat-back. With the stock tires you'll probably run high 4's low 5's though. 1/4 mile in low 13's. =)

  • funny thing is.. japan doesnt have the Ralliart version they have the basic and the evo... and in between they have the GT which is 2.0 Fwd but has all other features like this just not boosted n awd..

  • i got the base one but i already put HID 's with DRL bypass and just installed Eclipse Navigation which i really like... i didnt get the sports package coz i can install it myself and much more cheaper...next is project is the Ultimate Racing Exhaust and short ram intake..and AMS base flash which will gonna put 277 whp

  • actual 0 - 60mph is 5.3 seconds and topspeed is 145 MPH i have one is awesome car!!!!! just race my cousin in his lexus IS 350 stock to stock result the lexus is just half a car faster but just a few mods the ralliart will fly.....5 star for the Ralliart!!!!!

  • @NasahrSandi9 i have the 2010 ralliart bought it 26 G's .......it always put a smile on my face everytime im in a highway....its quick...if i can afford the evo i will chose the to buy it but it cost too much and the insurance cost a lot too.. but i love my ralliart just breaking in the engine then i will buy an exhaust and intake that will help a lot in performance...

  • @kitikitiboy the thing with the ralliart is that with the options I want recaro seat pack, navi, 700 watt, stero, etc it cost about $33,000 dollars and this car without a navi or the 700 watt stero and recaro seats would be much cheaper but much less satisfing. anyways what options does ur ralliart have?

  • People have tuned the RA Lancer to about 270-280HP just with a reflash. Take it to a good tune shop, and you will be able to unleash some serious power thats been locked away.

  • lolz, everyone here seems like money grows on trees. The Ralliart is a good car to buy for those who want more from their lancer GTS but not break the bank and go nuts to get a full evolution.

  • Sticker prices are so close tho Ralliart 29k, and EVO 33k. Dealers easily come down to 30k on the EVO GSRs so honestly I dont want to get a Ralliart for that reason alone. Its such a small gap that the EVO would be stupid not to get.

  • So what makes the Ralliart different than an Evo X; performance wise? I know it has less horse power, and different wheels/tires, but what else is there?

  • It's about 2 sec slower to 60..60 less hp..wheels..smaller wing..no body kit...smaller turbo...no brembo brakes.. i drove both of them before i bought my evo x.. it doesn't sound like a lot but the evo is a lot more fun..you can really tell the hp diff when you spool it up

  • Wrong, the Ralliart is about 1/2 second slower to 60...

  • Mitsu corrected the short comings in the 2011 Ralliart, manual gear box option and 245s standard instead of the 215s on the 2009 model.

  • yes that is true, the acceleration of the ralliart is 6.6 because the CVT, BUT WITH MANUAL TRANSMISION OF 6 SPEED THE ACCELERATIOS IS NEAR TO 4.9 SECOND, the handeling is superior to the 180sx, remember it have 4WD

  • I have one and it is a blast to drive, and, IMO, looks hot, you have to brake torque the transmission to get those 5.3 second 0-60 times, since it has no Launch Control, but let me tell you, one it gets going, it puts you in your seat quick.

  • I'd say that - for those who enjoy winding roads - the narrower tyres are actually a bonus. You'll also learn a lot more from driving such a car too, but I wouldn't recommend it on public roads.

  • Is the Ralliart the highest performance trim on the new Lancer? I have the new Consumer Reports guide and the two highest engines they have is a 237hp and a 291hp. However, where they list all the features on the available trims, Ralliart is the highest one and it says it comes with a 237hp engine. Is there another trim or can you just get a Ralliart with 53 more hp?

  • i wet on a test spin with this the other day and all i can say is damn like he was doin 110 60ft from the stop sigh and no screeching tirs we stopped and it picks up speed so well and it shifts faster that you can blink an eye so im basically gonna buy one as soon as i getthe money and i suggest you get one too lol : P

  • the gts starts at 18000 not the ralliart. i recently purchased one and i got it for 26500 out the door.

  • They only come with an automoatic with paddles in the us. In japan you can get of with a manual. I personally own this car and I love the auto in this car. It is very responsive and very quick at shifting. Overall I love this car a lot and it's definetly worth getting considering an evo mr starts at 40k.

    The Ralliart is not too bad but if I was going to spend a large amount of money on a performance Mitsi I would just go all out and get an Evo. Although if I had the option of a new WRX or one of these, I'd take this. I hate the new hatchbacks.

  • not to be mean, but you guys should drive the car before judging it and saying how good it is. i drove one and it was very sweet and had lots of power. the sterring was also very direct and tight. definetly worth the 10k less than a similar evo mr that base price is aroung 40k..

    He states that the AWD system was taken right off from the Evo edition and slapped onto this vehicle. this is a pretty big bargin. forget a typical WRX... this is a much better choice.

  • I was thinking about getting rid of my MKV R32 for this, but the interior sucks and it's slower. Plus it's priced almost as much, I got my R32 for 25k. Eh, the 09 WRX seems like a better deal since it only takes 4.3 to 60.

  • The 09 has sportstronic shift, and paddle shifters. Everything but the clutch. If you like the stick and clutch, then odds are you may not be happy, but if you don't like the clutch and stick but want the performance factor of a manual, then I can tell you from owning the Ralliart that it is just as good as a manual. There is no lag from shifting, it's actually awesome.

  • I actually just bought a Ralliart. It's NOT a Evo, but it does come close. I actually like the looks, some don't, but I hate Hatch backs. As far as it being automatic. I can speak from saying I learned on a stick and I would love to have a stick, but as far as losing performance, you still have the paddle shifters, and sports shift. You just don't have the clutch. The turbo is smaller, but you still get the kick. You can always talk the price down on these, and they do get better MPG.

  • Depends on a lot of factors. Odds are your GTS is a clutch, which NO ralliart is a standard, they have the sportstronic shift and the paddle shifters which to me are just as good but some want the whole stick and clutch bit. 500 dollar is not much, depending if you are giving money down you can get it a little lower. If they have already told you 500 under invoice, then go back and say if I walk out today what kind of deal can you give me. They might drop it a few more, or throw in a upgrade

  • I went to a dealer, the car is worth 35K in my country, where the Evo 9 MR goes for 31K is a much better deal, Another thing, Mitsubishi estimates 235 BHP!!!! Expect the RA to have barely 215 at the wheels, if that. Car is not worth it at all.

  • Just test drove it! Really nice. Good power, handles great. A little more road noise than I like and the engine doesn't seem to be that smooth. Yet for 27K, I do think it is a definate bargin.

  • If I were to get this car, I would change the wheel/tire to something aftermarket. Maybe drop to 17 inch, with a wider tire diameter. Maybe like a 225's instead of the 215. That will improve the handling and braking right there.

  • personally id still go for vw gti. though its doesent look as cool as the ralliart, gti is lighter has better brakes, handles better and has that german refinement thats makes it soo great. but thats just my personal opinion.

  • An Evo is my middle age dream car. I love evos and have for years. But I dont understand what they are doing with them now. They have been making them heavier and slowing them down. 6.6 seconds from a turbocharged mitsu 4? My buddies N/A 3.0L maxima does it quicker than that. And my spec V just about matches it and its naturally aspirated and front wheel drive. The cornering..well... Its simply amazing, in the ralliart and the evo. But they should be making them faster. Not slower.

    I don't have anything against the Raliart, I mean it's nice looking car. I wish it was faster. I would consider buying it, if it was.

    The Raliart does 0-60 mph in 6.6 seconds. The Suburu WRX does 0-60mph in 6 seconds or a little less.

    In my opinion, that's a sizeable difference difference between 2 new stock cars.

    And people will take that into consideration

  • I forget where I heard or read it, but I remember someone saying that Subaru was aiming towards a wider audience with this year's WRX, so I'm guessing it might be a bit softer compared to earlier versions.

    Either way, the Ralliart looks like a not-so-close attempt at taking on Subaru's WRX. The WRX was lighter, better engineered, produced only slightly less horsepower, and didn't seem to be the product of a raided parts bin. For god's sake, the Ralliart has SUV brakes! Literally!

I think they would sell a lot more Raliarts if they could make it as quick as the Subaru, and keep the price where it is now

  • No, according to the official numbers from Subaru UK the WRX does 0 - 62 MPH in 6,5 seconds.

    The WRX STI does 0 - 62 mph in 5,2 seconds, but comparing that to the Ralliart would not be fair. It should be compared to the EVO X which does 0 - 62 mph in 4,7 seconds according to Mitsubishi.

  • No, those 6.6 0-60's are without a good launch, when you Brake Torque the Ralliart, it will do 0-60 in about 5.5 seconds, some have reported doing it quicker than that, it all depends on the climate conditions.

The CRUDE OIL that GASOLINE IS MADE FROM is being produced my Middle Eastern countries like Saudi Arabia, however, those producers have seen a dramatic decline in production output as their formations have already reached their peak. Clearly, you have no understand of how oil is produced, and as such, you should keep your stupid fucking mouth shut.
