  • I have IBS with constipation. No diahrea. I go once a day or every 2 days. After much research I discovered a possibility could be low seratonin levels. I started taking 5-HTP to increase my seratonin and within a week I have started going 3 times a day. I still have symptoms such as gas, bloating, urge to go 24/7 and not feeling empty afetr a bowel movement but they are very mild compared to before the 5-HTP. It's worth a try.

  • poison can also generate IBS. a person being poisoned by organophosphores...

  • You could jump through all these hoops, or you could use a good probiotic, digestive enzymes, and Seacure. This works, and you can live without the deprivation.

  • Manage stress and avoid stressful situations? Stress is an inseparable part of the American lifestyle.

  • This is really great advice. I would recommend anybody with IBS to follow these

recommendations. I found after starting an all natural supplementation program that I didn't crave any of these negative influences anymore. I found probiotics to be a vital part of my getting well again.

  • thanks for the advice, was really helpful

  • IBS always caused by diet i reckon. Foodintol helped me heaps. its a great site.

  • I can offer better advice than that.

Step 1: Treat IBS as if you have a Candida Overgrowth.

Step 2: Take herbal supplements that reduce inflammation and kill fungus like Cat's Claw and Turmeric.

Step 3: Enjoy Life without any medications

  • My mom had colon cancer... and I'm sure she had suffered from IBS at some point in her life. Avoiding gas-producing foods such as beans needs to be taken seriously?? This is so sad .. I don't want to end up like my mom. May God bless you all!

  • What we need is some kind of medication or something that can cure these colon spasms.. would like to know if acupunture can help IBS.. since spasms are related to nerve cells.. right?

  • @blisteringcold I suffered over 20 years and finally I found something that works for me! It's 100% fruits juice; made out of Acai berry with 18 other wild fruits. It has fiber and tons of Antioxidants. The kind I drink is supposed to help people with Arthritis and joint pain, but it happens to work for my IBS symptoms. I heard a several other people that also said it works for them. Please let me know if you would like to try. I would love to send you a bottle.

  • then what is left to eat???????????

  • @haseebgood yeah i was just thinking that myself.

  • @Scooby71Doo I think IBS pateints could eat every thing but in such small proportions which do not elevate symptoms

  • @haseebgood your right there. I was once told by a doctor "there is no such thing as a bad food, the key is moderation".

  • @Scooby71Doo Are you suffering from the same conditions? If yes then what are you taking for relief.

  • @haseebgood I have been taking WHEY PROTEIN for 10 months now and I am a NEW MAN watch my video BEAT IBS WITH WHEY PROTEIN

  • @Scooby71Doo I have to respectfully disagree with this doctor, because it is well documented in medical literature that there are some foods that worsen the symptoms of IBS (refined sugar, saturated fat etc. etc.). I have IBS and Crohn`s disease myself and I have noticed that no matter what I try at some points and even with small portions of food ,it has no effect I still get the pain because I cannot tolerate them. With friendly regards - Theo ;-)

  • @haseebgood Very little... This is a life controlling illness. It's like a "mini cancer" or something. It's non lethal, but it sticks around for years. Decades maybe. Very sad...

  • Muy bueno e instructivo.
