Who said we are going to be fighting a military? Most likely, the US military will revolt and refuse to fight the militia. The main force the militia would have to fight is CIA, FBI, and law enforcement agencies.

What are you going to use for fuel when all the gasoline and diesel is gone, or restricted? Got any means of converting to say, propane or even better a in-engine hydrogen fuel conversion/burn system or convert to steam? This is a joke!!!! A militia force is a guerilla force. Heavy equipment like shown is easily spotted,requires lots of fuel,parts etc. And would be destroyed very quickly!!!! Militias need physically fit individuals that can trek long distances and deal with extreme weather. Dirt bikes are good even mountain bikes can be very useful. Modern night vision is a must. So sell the heavy equipment and buy what works. The Afghans and other guerilla forces would find this shit humorous

I would like to comment on this video. I am not affiliated with any militia, but I can understand where you are coming from. I am however a former soldier with combat experience, and I worked in a small unit using guerilla tactics as a force multiplier.

This line of thought, militias using light skinned vehicles is playing into the hands of the forces you will face. Your reasoning on the vehicles is sound, but your premise(wanting to use them at all for combat operations) is wrong.

All forms of mobility are of supreme importance to a Militia, even bicycles and horses, it you have them. A mounted unit is very effective as the Cossak troops of Stalinist Russia proved against the Vermacht in WWII. They can travel faster and farther than you can on foot and can carry greater amounts of gear. And with modern soft armor can even survive a little frag damage from ordnance. But I still say fire all your ballots before ever reaching into the bullet box.

Then I returned to SoCal and started California Minutemen an armed group, still never thought Milita but we had people shooting at us and we back at them and now there is a SoCal militia called SoCal Milita per SweStuff94's definition. The census bureau says 304,059,724 on the population, and the FBI estimates there are in excess of 200 million firearms in civilian hands, not counting military and police. I'm sure there's a lot of firearm owners who wouldn't keep all 50-something of their guns to themselves, though, but rather make sure their friends, family and neighbors were armed in such an event. So you do want to include the fact that right off the bat during the fighting for the bridges in the first invasion 40 (FOURTY) Apache were shot down by leg militia with small arms during open conbat. 90 days later only 6 of those recovered, many were DESTROYED, only 6(SIX) were combat operational. HMMMMMM, they really don't want to bring that one up now do they.

I think some people should watch Libertytreeradios BORG video. The worlds largest army (China) has about 2million soliders, America has 300miliion gunowners. That is a ratio of 150 to 1. 3% of the population fought in the Amercian Revolution, if only 3% of American gunowners fought a Chinese invasion the ratio would still be 45 to 1.

I've been doing some thinking on vehicles and I really feel we should take lessons from other guerilla conflicts around the world. In Africa, the up-armored, four wheel drive pickup and three ton trucks mounting a machine gun or other heavy weapon is king. Fast, manuverable, off road capable. Speed and the ability to hide are our advantages. We must use them. In a long conflict perhaps these vehicles could be converted to run off alchohol instead of gas to ease fuel problems.

Yes, we do. How many project and private choppers of all types do you think are out there? Try Tens of thousands. Each is a good training platform to get additional flight hours built up on. Like range time all flight time is good flight tiime. Experience is a big plus. Study the many airframe/platforms for you never know what may be in someone elses
