  • Htc is going crazy with all these phones! I dont know what to choose lol

  • This phone is just like a Touch Pro.

    -VGA Screen

    -Same Keyboard Look/Layout

    -Video Out

However device does have USB Host.

  • i fell in love with you HTC X7510 Advantage !!!

  • You can pretty much download anything on it. I downloaded the GPS and it works just like Tomtom or Mcgellan without paying a dime. you can either use it by touch screen or you can write on it incase where you can't find a piece of paper and pen. very very powerful

  • you guys just don't know. I had this phone before and i love it. It's more like a little laptop than a phone, and No sir, you can't put it on your ear because there's no option for that. You either use bluetooth or speaker phone. and No again to another person, the keyboard is magnetic, so it won't ever fall off. it comes with the cover and it looks more like an organizer. If you own one of this phone, you will consider that you're one hell luckly person on earth. geezeeeee

  • haha im so not gonna put that near my ear and talk to some1 infront of people i dont know fat fucking thing

  • hmmmmmmm....... dont you think the keybord is a bit stupid if it falls of when you put it in your pocket ?

  • ну и гроб... это чтоб топиться?

  • Very powerful. I am happy with it so far. It can be expensive to run using internet but it also has wi fi. I have not installed 3rd party except wireless external keyboard software and it did install. The phone is touch screen and it is always on loud speaker. you can plug the ear piece or the blue tooth. I have found it amazing that the size is never an issue.

  • does it support flash video

  • @thebiggestlasfanever my htc touch pro 2 supports flash. especially with Skyfire browser. so yea if my phone does, this does for sure

  • ну и херотень... полный калл!!))

  • wow its almost as good as an apple

  • can you run skyfire on it?

  • that's a little to big for a phone in my opinion.

  • u said this is a smart phone.but how can you make calls?looks like a laptop to me.

how many gb in it?can you put videos & music in it?

  • I have this device and it is amazing. It is not a phone or a PDA; it is a replacement for a laptop and it has a loud speaker phone, can also use B tooth earphone. It does everything a laptop does (including movies, music, massenger, facebook, cam 2 cam...etc.) plus the convenience of a phone. It may seem big but not really, as the things it does, it need to be this size. LOVE IT.

  • Am thinking of buying one too. Can you download 3rd party softwares on it?

  • way too big

  • How is playing movie on this phone?

  • its pretty big

  • nice mobile

  • Perfect platform for corporate mobile applications. Not really intended to be a phone, but more of a diskless/painless Windows platform with good wireless and instant on. The ultras with Vista still take time to boot.

  • you should try cuttin ur penis off or killing yourself it would make everyone happy

  • Wtf doesn't this just have windows xp on it.....its so big, I doubt windows mobile was ever designed to run on a brick before

  • Might aswell put a MicroSD Card into a Brick and carry it around =P, might be lighter anyway haha.

  • i just found this on the road and now i have to find out who it belongs to =0

  • klook like a laptop lol

  • Sick!

  • wow that is thicker than my computer hardrive.

  • i have one and its sick, way better than any other phone because everyone looks at u and asks u about it,it is not scrached at all and its so handy at school and work!

  • they should make a laptop like that!

    Thats a really bad phone!

  • ...and imagine making a phone call on the thing. It would look like you were holding a book to your face!

  • And... this is exactly why I don't buy HTC devices...

Always thinking backwards. WAY too bulky. It might be worked into a pocket, but it would get scratched all to hell, and you certainly couldn't sit down. I realize they're working towards a tablet idea, but it's in the wrong direction. If you're going to make a device so big... why put windows mobile on it? Might as well boot vista on the thing. And for such a large device, 16gb is a pretty small amount of space. An ipod can hold up to 160gb.

  • they made such a device, which is even bigger, no phone, vista, and their own interface, witth 40-0 gb, so I think this device is useless, but whatever, I have an htc touch pro, and it's the best I could find.

  • first of all , FUCK apple , they r wankers , secondly , a ipod dosnt have a fucking keyboard or a power processor like this HTC does or a FULLY working multi usage OS ,so yer , an ipod would have more room for a bigger hdd

  • Um... Windows Mobile is hardly a "fully working multi usage OS." Certainly not anymore fully functional than OSX Mobile.

And calling Apple wankers isn't exactly an argument. Are they wankers because they make industry standard computers? Or because they're leading the way in both music sales, and mobile phone sales?

I'll take an iPhone or iPod Touch over any other touch device to hit the market since.

  • apple only have lead in bullshit fasle advertising

  • lol

First of all, there's no such thing as "honest" advertising. Second... I've never had any Apple device that didn't work as advertised.

  • MS does honest advertising , especially their , find a laptop for under 600 dollars or whatever it was , all truth there , apple r ok , they r just wankers that brainwash people to buy overpriced average hardware lol , i can get a samsung laptop for a lot lot cheaper with hugher specs than a fucking macbook

  • MS doesn't sell a single laptop. They sell Windows. Windows is anything but honest, especially the last few builds of it. Vista was a nightmare, and I only switched to XP because most software stopped supporting 2000.

Honestly, I felt the same way as you about Apple, until I bought my Macbook Pro. Since then, Windows gives me nothing but headaches, while OSX does everything I need it to do. I feel for people's irrational dislike of Apple, but once you have one, it's a whole new game.

  • im glad osx works for u , as for MS , the more "PC's" sold , the more copys MS sell of their OS , TBH , i dont have any problemwith vista and its better than XP on all the high end systems i have owned , i doubt apple is ruining MS anyway since now macs are intel run and with bootcamp MS can now sell on more copys to them mac users :) end of the day , both parties win , i think MS is starting their own hardware range now so i heard , dunno wholl be making em , i know asus makes macbooks however

  • ok between apple and PC retailers your def losing out. The hardware these days are dominantly the same. Apple only makes the MoBO intel makes everything else. so your just paying a shitload extra for the same hardware. and if your gonna gripe about having trouble with windows wait it out. you dont even know why OSx can do half of what it does. its based on UNIX and its a very poor derivative of it. Try a Linux or a BSD. Thats the real wake up call.

  • Intel doesn't make "everything else," so you clearly don't know that much either...

You also missed my point. It's not about the source code or who makes the parts, it's about how it all comes together, which is better than any other computer company I can name. It doesn't count if you build your own PC and run an open source OS. Not only that, but I use a PC I built myself, and it runs XP & Linux.

Apple makes the best "outofthebox" products, and until you own one for yourself, you won't know.

  • and if you want an out of the box savior get an thinkpad T-series. You'll never find anything more durable. Whether or not you enjoy me being right is irrelevant Look up a macs parts list. Intel wireless, intell processing, Nvidia chipset. MAC makes the Mobo. Oh and the case. wow two things. im impressed. i work in an IT department, i dont need to own a mac to work with them everyday. they are about the only thing at my work that i have to work with everyday.

  • I will agree that Thinkpads are awesome.

Though, I never said Apple makes everything in the computer... but they design it and put it all together. I also think your opinion has a lot to do with context. Your job probably consists of maintenance and fixing, so all the time you have with Mac is whenever there is a problem.

I have several macs at my workplace and they never give me as many problems as our windows machines. We also do mostly audio and design. So for me, Macs rule.

  • audio and video are where macs really do dominate. I really cant take that away from them.

  • Idiot

  • True

  • Look me in the eyes and tell me this isn't an ugly phone...

  • Ugly phone but great concept and size for pda.

  • that would be a pain in my ass lol but looks preaty sweet but i wouldnt take it

  • it's very huge... i would rather buy a laptop than this...

  • yes... im starting to think that...

  • that is a laptop.....lol

  • i love your carpet ;)

  • may i know how much does it cost?

  • google is your friend ;-)

  • £700

  • kind of expensive!

  • lol looks like a women's wallet with the leather covering

  • Yea admittedly, it does.

  • who ever wants to have a phone that big?? they are for traveling :P

  • Very nice video. On my website I have online texting for anyone to use. You can create a contact list of friends to send out in one click. Just go to my profile to see.

  • what the heck?:D nice

  • dude if i wiped that thing out of my pocket people will laugh at me wtf is that thing just get the xv6800 or even yet AN IPHONE

  • can you even fit that in your pocket ???? LOLOL

  • actually yeah perfectly with no problems

  • what does it do that a blackberry doesnt? its way too big and clunky

  • hahaha i have to agree with u on that i want to get a bold or curve

  • Can you use Microsoft Word, PowerPoint, and Excel on a Blackberry?

  • Yes

  • It has a much large screen than a blackberry, and more powerful components. It also has a significantly larger (easier to use) keyboard.

Sure if you just doing a little bit of internet surfing there wont be much of a difference, but for extended sessions, this would be a much better product. In other words, this isn't for everyone.

  • r u stupid, it's a laptop too shit

  • who cares it still blows

  • well nice invention but seems costly

  • it might be costly but it's for ppl that uses laptop too, so it's a cellphone and a laptop in one and it's like a pda as well

  • nice, but can it make a call?

  • good luck hiding that huge ass thing in school. could you imagine handing that to the teacher. :)

that would be the shit to see.

  • does it play youtube?

  • nice

  • that thing is too big to be a phone

  • Well, it's about the sice of a wallet. Obviously wallets are carried around as well, so it might be bigger than most cell phones, but not too big for practical use. Using a bluetooth headset for making calls then is even more comfortable than using a regular phone. Funny how no one says the iPhone was too large and bulky and instead tend to brag about how large a screen it has... :)

  • So is your face!

  • you didn't show the dialing and using it as a phone !!!!!????

  • if it were up to me i would rather get a regular laptop and a pocket pc and use that instead

  • this sucks i recomend you to use the n810 cya

  • for some reson windows mobile doesnt look good. the phone use is nice but it just doesnt attract someone to it. And never get a SLider HTC. when you slide it it takes forever to it load. maybe it is just the Wing

  • Immense stupidity to use magnets for the connection between keyoard and unit.

Put this sucker in your pocket along with your creditcards, and in a couple of seconds you'll be stuck with creditcards that are just pieces of plastic (magnets erase the data on the magnet strip of creditcards..

    Good thinking HTC

  • Mythbusers proved it takes A LOT of magnetism to muck credit cards up and they were swiping the magnets across the cards. The magnets in this mobile wouldnt usually be touching your credit cards if theyre in your wallet.

  • I like it's business like look but wish it could play games like sony ux. if it could then I will have choose it. also I think the keyboard should be wireless or bluetooth ( in addition to being magnetic) even duo I don't like the bulkness of sony ux, I still went for it because of its beauty and games.

  • can you make phonecalls on the sony ux? I need to buy a windows mobile phone for business as my company doesn't like blackberry for security issues so they asked me to buy a windows mobile but they are all sooo ugly that I don't know which to buy? I kinda decided to buy a pocket size lap top like phone for business and another ''normal'' symbian phone for normal use.. I don't know what to do I hate the windows mobile devices!!

  • where the hell do u put that cuz i know it wont fit in a pocket. thats a wast of money

  • do you hold it up to your ear to make calls? LOL! no im' serious though. do you? i can just imagine myself holding it up against my ear in the middle of an airport.

  • looks nice, big phone, to big for me.

I think i'm gonna go for the Touch Pro.

(because this one doesn't have FM radio on it ;):p)

  • My dad has that for work he gets sponcored by that company and they pay him and give him it for free its awesome!!! i have one!

  • boy its not small ;)

  • does anyone actually have that?? it seems to big and balky for a phone. it looks more like a mini laptop. mini mini laptop.

  • that is the best phone ever created i just wonder if u can still type stuff in like sms messages or when typing stuff in on the browser with the keyboard attached

  • i would never want that unless i was like a buiness man =p

  • Can you put this in your pocket? rly?

  • Assuming your slacks aren't all that tight, yes. I have done it many times, but I do tend to take it out when I sit down due to its size.

  • hey can i get a job with your company because i would love to review phones because well i love phones i love technology.

  • Its only slightly bigger than the Nintendo DS lite, so its not that much bigger than the iphone, because the iphone is sligtly bigger than the ds, and also

Let me ask this, Why did you all buy a i Phone, whats the real reason?

  • It is easily 3 or 4 times the size of an iPhone, don't kid yourself. Thicker, longer, wider, and far heavier.

  • Wow state the obvious,

ye but that doesn't answer my question, whats the real reason you bought the iphone?

Is it jam packed with features? has got a really good camera? has it got an amazing internet browser? Has it even got speakers?

  • Yes, it was stating the obvious, because you said that the Advantage is "not that much bigger than the iPhone", which is, as you pointed out, obviously not the case.

  • Ye Great, Now could you answer the question- whats the real reason you bought the iphone?

What has the iphone got that makes it Unique-

Is like the N95 which has the unique part of being jam packed features- Is it like the LG Viewty that is the first phone to introduce the highest frame capture rate that phone has so far, well why is it so unique?

  • I don't own an iPhone. I never said I owned one.

  • Ye but did I say the questions aimed at U ?

Its aimed at people who have a iphone

Just out of curiosity wot phone u got anyway?

  • Actually, to anybody (but you, perhaps) that read all your replies to what I wrote, it would seem obvious you were asking me.

As to what I use, typically a Samsung BlackJack II, but I have dozens of phones (its my job), so I switch when needed.

  • Well if u do decide to buy it, it will definately be a nice addition to your collection

  • ill stick with my samsung glyde...that thing is huge

  • i think i will stick with my iphone

  • I think i'll stick with my iPod Touch.

  • so what is the advantage of this device

it is too larg to be a a mobile or a pocket PC

and too small to be a laptop

  • It is a tweener. It is nice for those times when you need more browsing or editing power, but don't want to lug 4 pounds of laptop around. it is a fine email platform in general, too.

  • yah that make sence

  • Has twice the amount of features that the Nokia N95 or the up coming 96 has,it has probaly the most memory that a phone has at the moment, cus i haven't found any phones or smartphones that have 16G of memory and a memory stick duo slot, which is expandable to 16G again,Major thing is, this PDA isn't a phone and isn't made for everyday use, but for office use.Thats why it isn't coming out in phone stores, and it can only be bought online.

  • Great review I have a question it's kinda of general though as far of portable devices go, which device could I have MSN installed on and then connecting to the net via WiFi?

  • Most any Windows Mobile smartphone supports MSN messenger. Just find one that has WiFi (there are a ton).

  • I liked the review, but I think I will wait for the next version. I would suggest the person doing the review find someone to hold the camera for him next time he does a review.

  • Having somebody else hold the camera makes things much, much more difficult, actually.

  • Yeah, it is big, but I have to admit, I've been carrying it around in my pocket lately. The big thing for me is having to use a headset. Massive bummer.

  • if it wasn't so fat i would want it.
