This went so perfect to the ending of Half Nelson. This tune says a lot of things. I think in terms of the film, it speaks of hope. It's like saying, no matter how dark Ryan Gosling's character's life seemed, there is still hope if you can find a way to grab onto it. This song is a build up into something more hopeful, until it reaches some sort of climax. It's exactly the same as Ryan Gosling's character, trying to find some hope to cling onto. I think he will probably find it, probably.
