Ya know, back in Penumbra, you could block enemies/monsters by going through doors that need to be pulled open; they could only push doors open, not pull. Although, in that game and in this game, they seem to be able to just tear the door down...

The logic for that puzzle, was to make the same amount on the top, as the bottom. You made 8 with the top 3 levers, and 8 with the bottom 3. that was the correct solution to that puzzle :)
