Dude, the OS has nothing to do with 3G. 3G is a form of mobile broadband and all a phone needs is a simple chipset. And the reason they didn't put 3G in the iPhone in the first place was because the 3G chipsets out at the time would have significantly reduced the battery life. But a 3G iPhone is strongly suspected to be released a WWDC(June 9-13) and the prices are expected to remain the same. And BTW, I would WAY rather have OSX on my phone than WM. I've been using windoze all my life. All the way back to windoze 98. It' sucked then, it sucks now. Vista is total shit. You need like at least 2GB of ram to run it at it's high settings. Apparently my 2.5 y/o Dell dimension with a 3GHz pentium 4 and 1GB of ram can't run Vista well enough. I did a diagnostic thing and it said I need a new graphics cared and more RAM. While there are like 5y/o Macs with G4 processors that run leopard just fine. and leopard is just $129 while vista goes up to $200
