Magari niya nini hikiwa hakuna barabara. mambo nikama 1950s reli ni ile moja kutoka kisumu hadi msa na mnasema kenya hina maendeleo sasa kenya kuna matata (mithiti nzei kibaki wiumwe)Wakenya wana kufa kwa njaa nao ni Mercedes Kenya we're still under
WHY ARE KENYANS SO IGNORANT, do u honestly think Kibaki would willing just give up the vehicles like that. Yes indeed he will give them up, but the same members or parliament will but back the vehicles at a throw away price. This has been witnessed before. People need to stand back and analyze the situation. After they send back the vehicles, the cars will be bought by the same people who sent them back to the dealers.
kibaki should also lead by resigning.a thief will always be a thief no matter what. stealing since the 1970s, what a reprise.and to be sworn in the night with the excuse of power vacuum.outgoing president remains in charge until the new president is sworn in.try using another lie please.
The differentiating factor in this matter is this: authority. The eight vehicles were returned because of the fact that they were bought without the knowledge and or authority of State House! Otherwise probably the vehicles would have stayed. Is State House playing games to teach Kenyans that times are hard, and that Uhuru's directives should be respected by the 'mighty' nothiings? Lucy is the best, put everyone on toes.
Well I wonder what will or should hapen to those who participated in the unauthorized purchases, they should be sent back to the dealers too, as in FIRED.But if I may also betray my ignorance on business law, can someone tell me if the dealers are obligated to accept the vehicles and or refund the money.I hope some people are not about to get free pimped-up state house rides!Even though I commend the President for this action, there are legal and business considerations the order may foul
Lets see if the vehicles get back to dealers or r diverted to a go-down..soon as they rolled off the ramp depreciation set in. Ask Freeg how much they're worth now! lol..half the mkt price i guess lol
Great thoughts, my exact sentiments. Yes the gesture is good/decent or whatever but it is mandatory for these dealers to take back 8 whole vehicles that were purchased last year? And is it now that Kibaki is realising that these were purchased? shows how corruption will never end. The blue book value depreciates as soon as a vehicle leaves and now is when they return them. Sad.
Uhuru has really messed this up. I love seeing this big beautiful cars, now all we see is Toyota corollas! Hii ni matharau! Who would trade a Mercedes 320 for Toyota 1400cc?
