Hit the bow of the ride, not the edge. it shouldn't be ringing that much. Unless that's a crash that you're using as a ride. Then i wanna know why you're even bothering with HHX.
@jomomwashere its just a poor ride, and I don't mic my set either, so it could be the camera. This is not my preferred ride. If I had a choice, I'd choose a 20' AAX Stage ride.

Good playing and feel. The groove really swings deep if the left hand plays dotted 1/4 notes to give it that funky Texas Shuffle groove.
