Usually in musical movies, the track is pre-recorded and lip synced on film. But Paul insisted that this bit in "Broad Street" be played and sung live during filming. Musical director George Martin tried to talk Paul out of it, but Paul insisted. Martin later said he was amazed that it actually worked. I believe the guitar solo during the break was done by Dave Gilmour.
