You would think so, but take this into account. Casinos can make millions per day in pure profit. Even if the casino loses 100k, its virtually nothing to them. On the other hand, if this guy wins it will entice others to play and bring a lot of media coverage to their casino as the place where someone bet his life savings and won. Its advertising at its finest, and there's no better way than to have real people with real emotions display it.
