I think he really is Liv Tyler's dad...she looks more like Todd than she does Steven Tyler. She was told Todd was her dad for many years, and then her mom said Steve was her dad. She looks so much like he does in this video.

This is one of my all-time favorite songs. I love that he helped raise little Liv Tyler. He seems very mellow live here. I don't think I've ever seen him perform live. His voice sounds even better live than I expected.

Cool about meeting Todd too!

I saw Todd not too long ago on the David Letterman show, where he sang this song. Of course, Todd is a few years older now!! But it was his song, he wrote it and made it one of those timeless classics. Love those message songs! The falsetto's really get to me . . .(melting). I am doing very well in the summer, in the city, in the summer,in the city!

golly summer...that was really neat, i come from a very musical family with alot of musicians in it ....i had an uncle who owned a music store in the bay area(vallejo)....he actually met todd....his band had equipment trouble and needed something real quick so they wound up buying from my uncle....my uncle said that todd was one of the nicest and most interesting people he ever met......how ya doin honey? think about you alot?aww summer is a gorgeous time of the year...((love/huggs))
