i love how all these big companies are doing terrible right now.. but does anyone kno if the elites planned this? or are benefitting from this, besides the huge bailouts? and i hope more and more of these terrible companies disappear so smaller businesses can come up and grow

Saw the whole thing. Excellent, like the first, but still off. Technology, unfortunately, has and will stay in the hands of the elites. What if the elite establishment, which indirectly has control of the most advanced technologies in the world made within the US, Israel, Russia, and China, also have a future vision that is the similar to project venus? Except they want to eliminate parts of the species so only the 'advanced' can enjoy this. What if the elites realized exactly what Joseph has?
That's certainly a possibility, ok, probability, but one way or another the country (the world) needs change. I like the idea of The Venus Project and using technology to better mankind and i realize that a great many f the elite est. don't see things that way... money and power corrupt. The VP isn't w/out its flaws though. I work in the film industry, I'm part of the 10% whose job isn't replaced by technology.
That said... people will still be needed to work on the machines, and... what's to make one person be ok living in a 3 bedroom 2 bath home on a 1/4 acre of land while someone else has a 6 bedroom 5 bath home on 3 acres of land etc...
I like where they're going, and I'm all in favor getting rid of the fed reserve and the whole monetary system... a lifestyle like The VP is a long ways away and it'll have to start like the U.S.A. started. we've got to be united and stand up for our rights.
Like helping the homeless, I don't want anyone to be homeless, but I say help the homeless in your own country first before you go help someone 8,000 miles away. when a plane is in jeopardy what do they say: Put the O2 on yourself first before you help the person next to you.

Project Venus seems legitimate to me, as I see humans and technology forever linked at the prefrontal cortex. Humanity needs a goal, and that goal should be a healthy expression for everyone. As Joseph says, there is no perfect state, but there are healthier conditions of existence. Obama is an improvement from the fringe neocon agenda, though I'm worried about the people he surrounds himself with.

Between Obama and McCain, the choice is simple. Obama is the lesser of the two evils, undoubtedly. McCain is a hawk, his father was a hawk for the Vietnam War. Obama is still an establishment candidate in my opinion, but the choice is clear. Ron Paul is legit., and he votes his conscience, something rare in the House or Senate. What this video talks about, the problems with our monetary system, is what Ron Paul has been talking about for ages now. Don't vote for McCain, whatever you do.

Obama did take it. Things won't change that much, I can guarantee that. Police state will still rise, we'll still be an empire in decline, Patriot act will not go away, we'll still have meaningless wars in the middle East, The Fed will still bail out the rich. The only real change will be the color of the presidents skin.

I think you're right. I heard Obama wants to continue with Bush's illegal wiretappings. And I heard he also wants to continue granting retro active immunity to telecommunication companies who cooperated with Bush's illegal wiretapping program. And as far as his military escalation in Afghanisistan goes, I certainly don't support that as well.
It's even worse than just illegal wiretapping now.

As it says in that article, Obama has invoked state secrets to prevent anyone from being able to sue the the Gov. or telecom companies for spying on them. The government will also withhold any info. about past abuses.
So the Obama Admin. is not just continuing the Bush agenda, they're pushing it further.
That's a lot of 'What if's...' and rightfully so. I'm not arguing that at all, it's entirely plausible. I don't want civil war or another revolutionary war, but the elites are the elite because for so many years we've been push overs. This is a country of many, not few.
I don't know how to start the change, but I know that people have to work together and stand their ground.
