Hey y'all. I've managed to get all the updates tonight (from 1.1 until 1.6). I'd figured I could make an nice .zip for you all to help you out =)

do you have to format your sd card for this??? this is my problem, i had put the voice plus beta on my g1, the beta ended and then i tried downloading the normal 1.6 it was gone from tmo, some nice person posten on the forums a way to get it back to 1.0, then it would update to 1.5, then 1.6 i tried doing that but my phone got stuck at 1.0, im wondering if i leave it like this will it automatically get the OTA update??? or do i have to manually do it?

ive tried endlessly updating my phone, since its 1.0. It was a 1.6 at first and people said having root access is nice so I tried doing it. now i want to bring it back but once they say to come to the recovery menu, just a picture of exclamation point with the picture of the g1 pops up. Can you tell me what I can do to stop it.

you have to press Alt+S for update if you have placed some update in your sd card or just simple press Home+back to return to your phone

@lostfoundrescued Pres Alt L to see the menu, then Alt W to wipe the phone, then Alt S to install the update file your trying to use. Hope that helped

root acess just means you have hacked your phone to get the same access to the hardware as a super user hope that helped
