My 24 year old son with Autism was raised during an era when Autism was never mentioned in public, let alone a public service message. The result...very little awareness, limited, if any, early intervention programs, and the statistics were a "guess" at best. The fact that this commercial was made and aired on television as a "public service" means that progress has taken place and THAT is one huge step forward for all people with Autism and their families.

I wonder what the stats are for the heirarchy salaries vs. the amount spent on research? I wonder if they jump > 35% just like the Autism victims did?
