  • looks more like she is rubbing the lotion in instead of giving a message. I would have liked to have seen her give more of a message.

  • why is the clients anklet still on first rule of pedicure remove all jewellery

  • The gloves thing I get. Just needed to point that out before I said this.

Now, When I give my friend's sister a foot massage or paint my girlfriend's nails and whatnot, I don't wear gloves. I asked if they wanted me to once, and they said "That's okay." and sorta waved their hand no. So this was strange seeing a gloved massage.

  • I agree with you. The difference will be if you are a licensed professional or not. People love the blame game for a foot infection, if you are not insured... do the mathwork. Careful!

  • I understand wearing the gloves for most of the pedicure. But it kind of seems like they'd be uncomfortable during the massage.

  • why isnt she wearing a mask

  • i like the client when the pedicurist says "make sure you dry between the toes" she nods her head looking to the camera thinking "yeah what she said, dry in between your darn toes" LOL

  • Why are you wearing gloves?

  • maybe because it's disgusting for her..

  • well I guess you're right

  • It's safer for both the giver and the recipient to wear gloves. I don't mind it when people wear loves while giving me a pedicure. Safety first. :)

  • @bratfink74

I would feel much more safe if they wore gloves because think about it. If they dont wear gloves with your feet then they probably dont use with others. So that means they could have some nastyness that I do not wish to be on my feet. Which is why its a good idea to bring your own stuff to nail salon. FUNGUS FUNGUS FUNGUS gets on nail buffers, files, emery boards, nail polish. GROSE BYOB bring your own box of stuff for them to use on YOU. They laugh at me but they R nASTY

  • "Why are you wearing gloves?"

Because it's the law. Most salons require their employees to wear gloves while dealing with certain body parts; it's a sanitary thang, you know. Don't wanna be spreading bacteria from one person to the next, right?

  • sanitation reasons

  • My aunt requires the employees at her salon to wear gloves to avoid the transfer of bacteria and disease.

Many people forget that AIDS or other things can be caught wile performing these things in the event of clipper accidents or just the customer having an unseen cut or whatever.
