@enzoalec92 D.K is the coordinator of the whole series. He gave Shuichi Shigeno the inspiration to start making Initial D.

But ultimately, the decision to create the Initial D series rested on Shuichi Shigeno as he was interested in making a series based on the Touge street racing culture in Japan. The main reason as to why Keiichi Tsuchiya was involved was so that they could approach him for the technical aspects involved in drfiting so that there wouldn't be any mistakes made when the drift techniques were explained during the Touge runs.

当時の画像はCG技術が未完成で、コーナー（カーブ？）の縁石が­カクカクしていました。
