  • I think the 1st gen Tercels looked better than the 2nd gen.

  • I owned one of these about 12 years ago, a very basic yet fun to drive little car. Mine had well over 150,000 miles on it, and ran like a champ, tho i never jumped it over any of its contemporaries lol.. It was still running strong when the body structure finally rotted so bad that the doors became difficult to open & close. It met it's end on the set of "The Mothman Prophecies", destroyed in the bridge-collapse scene.. It was medium blue, with a white top

  • As if a longitudinal engine is a good thing? lol.

  • @SvenDansk7 It sure made maintenance easy. No reaching blindly into dark spaces to find things. Space to add things, even (not that you'd be installing anything big in a Tercel, since everything after the engine can only handle about 100hp before breaking...but it was by no means delicate).

  • Well i bought it second hand around 1999. Mine was a 1981 deluxe.

Had to do some repairs to get it MOT'ed, and i had for aound 2 years.

  • I had one like this as my first car...

  • really? what year did you get it in?
