because typically, 10sec street Evos make around 600hp and 10sec civics make around 550hp. my friend has a 650hp evo and hes in the high 9's on DOT slicks. my other friend who has a full weight honda drag car is making just over 500 and hes in the high 10's.....
it doesnt take a genius to figure this out bud.

@rotor13 hehe yeah, that website is down. And it really doesn't matter what your friends have, I really don't believe what an engine has for power unless I see dyno sheets for that engine. A former engineer for Chevrolet told me once, "Until an engine is tested, ever aspect of it's performance is in question." So anyways, back to the point at hand, these guys suck at this street racing B.S. and should stick to their 1.6 Civics before they look like any bigger retards.

you should pretty much know how much power a car has to be at to run certain 1/4mile times.
Also, i can agree with you about the whole street racing thing. These guys cant even read the flagger properly and keep jumping.
But this was also a race for $1k cash, so you might be able to understand if the drivers where "itchy"
