  • I played one today. Grabbed an SG off the wall and I got to tell you, cranked this amp did AC/DC crunch very nice.

    Couple questions.

    1. Will this amp hang with a drummer for AC/DC, old aerosmith, Zepplin type stuff?

    2. I can hear you using delay. The one I saw today did not have a loop, so I assume you are running the delay into the front. Does it still sound good even when you crank the Master?

  • @erusmil If you're jacking straight in with no modulation effects and high-output pickups then you'll have no problems playing with a drummer if you dig the natural amp distortion 24/7. As far as running modulation in front of the amp and playing with a band at a club... I've done it with few problems, but I was using a strat. Master volume isn't a problem as power tubes don't distort and saturate as much as preamp tubes, with your preamp volume dialed up, modulation becomes a problem.

  • Selling a pristine condition CR. Contact if interested...

  • Sounds nice man. Hey question for any top hat fans out there... What's the difference between the king royale and the club royale?

  • @telecasterman18 wattage, headroom, available gain. They're both british styled amps though. The king royale is the big brother to the club royale.... think vox ac15 and vox ac30, though my tophat sounded a lot like an 18 watt marshall. The deluxe amps are american styled amps.

  • You're right...It sure sounds like you're bored....I know it bored me.

  • so much so that instead of clicking another video you commented... I know I only do redundant things like that when I'm close to boredom's death grip.

  • thank you for actually playing melodically and not just doing retarded blues scales the whole time. i could actually hear the tone of the amp.

  • yw, I had it on the max amount of breakup it would give(not very much, which I like). I like that this amp is always clean but will growl when you play hard w/ a strat. I def had to change my playing to match this amp, I'm a very light player... never broken a string before I got this amp. It's worth it though.

  • hahaha hey i found you on youtube, i assume you go here to hear new gear also? i dont have any videos i just created a sn so i could comment and call people on their bullshit. well, you make that amp sound really pretty. i like the sound around 150ish, youre right, that echo works pretty well.

  • Love to see you jamming back on youtube, in my opinion your really a great player, you've got as much skill to impress and most important thing, there is so much feeling in your playing. The first thing you're playing is hauntingly beautiful ( 0:25 to 1:00 ) and the last thing on your random chord progression seems to be great to jam. Keep on rockin' dude !

  • That's a huge compliment, coming from you... the closes I've seen anyone get to writing as complex music--while maintaining a melody that's relatable--as john frusciante(you remind me very much of him with your original stuff). I'm horrible at taking and giving compliments, but I do appreciate yours very much.
