@wilsonteh910916 I got a simple way to do it if you tune your E-string with placing your finger on the 5th fret. Instead of doing that place your finger on the 7th fret and make it sound like it would on the 5th fret. When you do that it will now be dropped down to D.. Easy and simple!

You should also drop the HIGH E string to D. This seems to be what Mayer does if you look at the video. It also makes it a lot easier to play the bridge correctly. Tuning should be DADGBD.

yea so loosen your 6th E string to a D. Remember to LOOSEN it, if you tune it too much to hit the D (like the 4th string D) it could snap the string! (which is very scary)
