  • The Most Unique Villain Defeat EVAR.

  • The image of those frozen stone people stayed with me from when I was just a kid till now. Glad I was able to find this and see it again, AS MUCH AS IT FREAKS ME OUT!!!!!!!

  • Who else likes to imagine that Unico, upon reaching adulthood, managed to get the gods off his back and was reunited with not just Cheri, but with Beezle and Chao/Katy?

  • I had no idea this was a 2nd movie it was just in the beta rental store back when I was a kid and I watched it a lot over and over. I couldn't remember this movie till I saw this following another old movie thank u for doing so :D its too bad the 3rd is unavailable =/

  • Loved it as a kid but now its just weird -___-

  • Poor lil' guy. He would be so much happier if he'd learn that while it's good to value your friendships one can never truely be happy unless they learn to be contect with themselves and their own company and that there is a difference between being alone and being lonely. It will also make one less prone to ending up in abusive, dysfuntional friendships. That will be a copay of $35 please. I'll send a claim to your insurance company for the rest of the balance. :-P

  • Amazing. I thought i was going to watch this again and once again find that something amazing from my childhood really sucked and was poorly done. But not this time. Unico was well put together and has a truly imaginative story. When toby turned that tree into his own jetbike...AMAZING. great movie that i'll have for my children.

  • Anyone know who did Kuruku's voice? I've always loved it.

  • @KyraWolf Rob Roy did it. He's a character TV actor whose most famous role is as the coach in 21 Jump Street.

  • I will be your friend Kuruku.

  • I have a few questions.

    (1) One of the previous posters said: "Wow. I see this time they didn't censor the cross symbolism like they did in the previous movie." In 'The Fantastic Adventures of Unico', where was there censored cross symbolism? Can somebody explain where and how it appeared?

    (2) Also, is it show on the DVD extras for that movie?

    (3) Was anything else censored or altered in these movies?

    (4) How can I get more info about the making of the Unico movies? Thanks for any help.

  • the music always got me as a kid. still as beautiful as ever.

  • Awesome, epic movie with memorable characters, plot twists, and insanely creative scenarios. Never seen anything like it before or since. These guys knew how much even young kids could understand. Disney, eat your bloody heart out.

  • Where was Beezle?

  • dumb gods

    the god suck and stuff

  • Poor Kuruku. Just when he finds friendship, he has to die. :(

  • MadHouse and Yoshiakta Kawajarri of Ninja Scroll, Wicked City, Demon City Shinjuki, Vampire Hunter D Bloodlust and Animatrix was behind this? cool.

  • I love these old things. I have the first one on a VHS I found and the only place I can currently watch the second is here.

  • this movie has molded my pathetic life

  • unico defeats kuruku with kind words

  • WHY oh WHY did they not make a 3rd one? Or did they? C'mon... you can't just leave us hanging not knowing what happened to UNICO!!! I used to watch this all of the time when I was little. Lord Kuruku used to freak me the f*ck out, still does. Just sayin'. But man, what a powerful message!!! These movies are EPIC!

  • @eccentricrockstar

There was a third movie, but it's only viewable in Japanese in Tezuka Theaters. I haven't seen any digital version on the internet and there's never been a dvd release.

  • @swaswj what was the name of the 3rd movie?

  • @eccentricrockstar the 3rd one i believe is: black cloud, white feather! ^_^

  • Thank you for uploading this, brought back wonderful memories!!!

  • Kuruku dying ALWAYS used to scare the crap outta me when I was young. Still even kinda creepy now..LOL

  • @xXRAWRXx5 Same here, this entire thing creeped me out! I just now figured out the name of this cartoon and charactor names, its been over 20 years since I saw it. I remember seeing ren & Stimpy, ren's eyes always reminded of that evil witch thing Kuruku LOL! Especially when Ren goes insane on so many episodes. I thought they based Ren off this character LOL!

  • that ending song has been stuck in my head for over 20 years.......and now ive found it.......and yes iv seen unico b4 when i was very young......i feel really horrible right now...almost scucidal.....

  • i still remember this from when i was a kid...it has never left my mind...i love unico till the day i die i guess

  • OMG I have not seen this since I was about 4 or 5. Now I'm 24. I'm so glad I found this. Its lkea lost piece of my childhood

  • Oh, look - it's Unico on a cross. Is that supposed to be symbolic? Oh, well. What's disturbing is that the castle, fortress, or whathaveyou is composed of human Tetris pieces, so as the structure crumbles, so do thousands of lives. But all's well because the bigbad feels good! Yeah...

So the Nights reject is reunited with his family. For better or worse, the movie doesn't say. The Heathcliff extra and his pals learn nothing, and the bigbad becomes Sherry's to abuse. What a funny story!

  • As much as I hate to say "whatever" but hey, this is made for babies, and at least it's a little better constructed then other drek like the Care Bears or the Smurfs.

Yes, thousands of people die without proper retribution, but at least Unico, whose only super power is exactly that, making people feel better, stopped him from hurting anyone else.

And I think you skimmed over the overall idea that living people are now happy and free to be and do whatever, and that's all we really need to know.

  • @HyperSonicSquall Please explain this obvious neologistic use of 'babies'. ..The Care Bear movies were stupid as well, but for different reasons which can not be compared.

This movie was horridly told. I can understand the Nights reject keeping the nuances of the plot from the Heathcliff extra, but the writers forgot there's an AUDIENCE watching who needs to know what's going on! Kuruku should have developed enough that we'd WANT to be his friend, not glad he's dead. Actually, we don't care.

  • Well the audience for Unico is very much the same as Hello Kitty, toddlers that don't know to pay attention and more or less are just gonna love the colorful characters.

I will agree that the writing here is kinda off, but I suppose you're up to your own interpretation. I had sympathies for the guy, not as much as what's probably wanted but his nature was definitely expressed to a point where I knew what he was, what he was doing, and why. But you're right, it was a touch hard to care.

  • Hello Kitty has been around for decades; it's original demographic has grown. The majority of it's present audience (teeny-boppers) likely knows only of Hello Kitty and will never know of Unico, The Bell of Chirin, or other Sanrio films. When this movie was new, it was intended for 7-12 year olds (more mature than babies).

  • I guess that's just bad writing and directing. It happens. I actually like the first movie and to some extent the comic a little more.

  • @MartenFerret You've obviously never taken any "Literary Analysis" or "Comparative Literature" in college.

Well, I can tell you the relationship between Kuruku and Unico, as the author intended it to be; then you'll be so amazed by it that you will act like "I knew it all along."

But then, I decided to not to throw a pearl to dogs and swines.

  • @shiragi992 More like you're giving the film too much credit. If one wants to see pictures in the clouds, one will. Same with this (or any) movie: If you love it, you'll finds reasons to, often by attributing depth to it. You WANT this to be a significant film, so you see significance in it. To quote Charlie Brown, I see a duckie and a horsey' (because that's all there is!).

  • kukuruku is not ded. his hatred is. he lives again, tho inanimate, to be manipulated by the loving hands of cheri, whom will most likely imbue the memory of unico's affections. he'll stay on torubi's mantle and many generations of hands will recognize the sacred marionette by the sentiment of cheri's character, in this adventure, which deigned the personality of such a beloved toy.

  • @beischquee This is old, my friend. I have moved on to videos more vile than this.

  • its been well over 20 years and ill never forget this........its been etched in my mind

  • This movie scared my little sister :P

  • Once again Unico was victorious against Kuruku and the darkness has lifted and the peolpe, animals, and demons is back to normal ^_^ but it really pains me that Unico has to go for he did a courageous thing and his new mother West wind have to escort him somewhere else so the stupid gods will not find him. Poor Shery for she was so good with animals I hope she will never forget Unico *sniff* ;(

  • I would love to have the instrumental ending-credits track from this version. It's so pretty and the instrumentation is perfect---electric piano, guitar, and strings. It's a crime music like this never gets released or, at least, recognized.

  • @Phantallusion I've actually been pulling some of the music off of my copies of this and the first movie.

  • What's up with Kuruku Unico talks about friend and lonelyness and he falls apart litterally? I've hasn't seen that since Xayide from Neverending Story 2 when Bastion wished for her to have a heart and she goes to pieces.

  • I saw this movie only once and then never again

I'm so glad to have found it

I remember Toby playing the flute I don't ever remember how it ended or if I even watched the entire thing cause it was like eons ago. Glad you posted it

  • I love UNICO. ive been searching so long for the movies. They are so beautiful.

  • I've always loved the idea of horrible monsters that are not simply defeated, but break down and cry.

  • i only ever saw the first one, so this was new to me. The orange cat had an anoying voice, didn't he? Unico rocks, thank you for sharing!

  • this movie brings a tear in my eye. Oh how i forgot about my favorite childhood memory movies. :'D

  • when i first saw this movie, which was here on youtube, the puppets scared me and i though the guru witch was scary XD but now i love it! ty for upload

  • Thank you so much for posting this!!!! I too have not seen this movie in 20 plus years, when i was child.

  • such a good movie kuruku is creepy but it is a sad movie that sucks how everytime he makes friends and does something good the gods find him, i guess the worlds a dark place and whenever unico makes a place happy the gods can tell tht sucks he lost beasel and katy in the first movie and cherry and tht sphinx in this movie.

  • i never thought i'd find this movie. thank you so much, it bring back so many memories. It reminded me what it was like to be a kid again.

  • tears 20+ years later..."cheri...goodbye"-oh my gosh! even some great socio-medicine in there (ahem-turned into puppets to build a metropolis?)

thanks so much for posting-can't wait to show my children :)

  • Thanks for posting! I saw this movie once 20 years ago on Nickelodeon and thought it was a trip. It's stuck with me ever since. I thought I'd never see it again. Thanks,

  • thanx for posting this...touches my heart...i havnt seen this in over 20 years...

  • Comment removed

  • I agree by the way..although I have not seen the first one. I didnt know that there was one before. I agree that the character developmen of Lord Kuruku and you do feel for him. Also, Toby's flute. I mean its really a great, great children's story and story for all ages. " For the first time in my life i can hardly say it, I FEEL GOOD"...cue epic music!.. Freakin' great!

  • I am sooo happy to find this movie! This was my favorite movie growing up! Not too many people have seen this classic movie.

  • unico saved the day! =D

  • So many years, so many memories... I remember how much I loved these movies, and that I cried for unico everytime he was taken away. Its not fair that the gods have to make him go away in isolation. In the first movie they said they're suppost to be merciful. :'(

  • I always hated how the West Wind had to take Unico away....i wish he could stay and be happy finally ='(

    *I <3 these movies*

  • Many thanks for posting this video...as others have said it's been 20 years since I first seen this film...what was once broken images is now a complete story for me to remember...again thank you...

  • Oh my goodness, Karuku creeps the crap outta me!!! Plus I can't stand all the geometric shapes, they bother me for some reason :P

  • i know im reading into this, and im really not trying to make a statement or anything, but unico is taken by the west wind when he is lying on a cross? that seems a bit related to jesus

  • Thanks so much for uploading. I missed this movie. :D

  • Thank you so much for posting this video. The nostalgia feelings I get when seeing it cannot be described. I thought I'd never see it again since I used to have it on Beta and my mom threw it away more than 10 years ago. Thank you very much.

  • Many thanks. It was so meaningful to have been able to see this movie again after so many years.

  • my god, i have been searching for this, its been 20 years since i dont see this video, thank you so much for this.

  • i'm so glad to have found this! i thought i'd dreamed this once, and now i find its real!

  • pure summer

  • the clouds form Unico at 7:05 - 7:15

  • i seen this when i was a teen and im 40 now and the girl calling for him at the end still breaks my heart

  • :')

  • Part of roots of japanese animation.

I watched this in US around '88 and I only know this in English version.

This is one of good title that consist of my chilhood memory.

  • bless u , i 2 was searching for like 20 years for these cartoons.thanks 4 posting them.

  • West Wind: "Holy crap! Seriously Unico, this time DON'T HELP ANYONE!"

I think Gainax or Gonzo should acquire the rights to create a show where Unico has finally become fed up with the world run by the gods and sets out on a path of revenge. I'd watch it.

  • exactly, i would vote 5.

  • You are by far one of the coolest people for putting up youtube videos for the Unico series. Yah!!!! :-)

  • when is this adventure ever end T-T.

  • THANK YOU FOR POSTING THIS!!! i have been trying to figure out what movie this is for at least twenty years!!!

  • Seriously I remember watching so long ago. I always thought Toby was the coolest character ever. I was so excited when I tried a web search with the keywords Toby and kuruku and found it.

  • YOU ROCK! The UNICO movies are the best! Thanks!

  • Hehe, seeing how Unico finished off Kuruku, gives a whole new meaning to th phase "killing with kindness" ;)

  • Good news on Unico coming to DVD:

There are Unico videos for sale on EBay, and in 2007 (see below) it was announced that both of the feature-length movies finally would be released on DVD in the United States with both English and Japanese audio.

  • nice! I want them! :)

  • Me too! =D

  • Rarely does a film deliver its message so powerfully...words that stuck with me through all my years. Pure magic...

  • An excellent ending to an epic movie from Sanrio! I first saw this movie on the Disney Channel after watching an episode of The Raccoons. It totally blew me away! After watching this again, it reminds me once again how far the Disney Channel has fallen. Nowadays, I don't even watch that channel. Everything on there is unwatchable. Hopefully, the DVD's of this movie will come out soon. Thanks for the upload, swaswj!

  • Wow! I too had been wondering/ searching for this movie for YEARS (I remember watching it when I was 7 or so)

That Koruku guy I also had recurrent nightmares about. How strange that I wasn't the only one sensing this hole in my heart. And wouldn't you know -- it's on YouTube!!

  • The saddest part about the end, is that Unico never even gets a chance to say good bye...

  • you know its super childish of corse but some of the animation is truly original and abstract i love it:)

  • OMG So wonderful..I feel all the awe and wonder I had as a child returning to me. Thank you for posting this movie. "For the first time in my life, i can hardly say it...I feel Good!" :)

  • wow.. that ending is so impactful! I'm so crying for the bad guy who was soo creepy to me only minutes before.. and the strength it took for unico to say the things he said in spite of his fears.. wow. the moral of this story is the most important thing anybody could ever learn in their life: NEVER underestimate the power of a empathy! Unico helped heal the most evil seeming being just by understanding what he needed and how he felt. "You must be so lonely because you need a friend" ...powerful

  • This is the sort of fundamental truth that people need to be teaching their kids, and it just doesn't show in american television any more. :(

  • It's more exciting to see the hero beat the antagonist silly first and THEN break out the friendship speech, I'm afraid. :(

  • It's partially because kids don't want to bother to learn, and at the same time, parents don't want to enrich their children by going out of their way to locate masterpieces like this, watch them alongside their kids, and explain to them the power and beauty hidden within.

They're either so busy or so disinterested in their children that their "enrichment" is merely a second thought and these parents would rather rush out and get the newest cgi slop, plop their kid in front of it, and that's it

  • As much as I wish I could disagree, I agree with you whol heartedly.Parents these days should be tryingto get masterpieces like this, but, as you said, they grab the newest cgi crap andjust let their kids watch that instead

  • Excellent point, I agree with your assessment! It's also the TV networks that aired these movies in the past. When the Disney Channel aired this movie back in the 80's & early 90's, it was when networks aired quality programming & movies such as this to broaden their audience. This is a movie that can be enjoyed by kids & adults, even for adults who are a child at heart! Today, it's all about money, ratings & "safe" shows, which benefit no one and insult your intelligence to no end. Very sad. :(

  • Well... I would think Disney would run something like this cuz back in those days they didn't have anything to show. I mean they did have Duck Tales, Chip and Dale, Darkwing Duck, and Goof Troop but not much else, and everyone already had their video cassettes so stuff like this was ripe for the taking.

I hate to break it to ya but it's always been about money and creating things that could get more of it but back than not a lot had been done and people could try new or different stuff.

  • Most if not all of the shows you're mentioning were actually shown in the 90's and Unico was shown in the 80's in the US- so they even had fewer things to show than that! :o But this was an excellent movie, so I'm rather glad they did! :)

  • This movie was dark (which often translates to 'good'), but this is no Brave Little Toaster. This movie was stupid! No one developed during the film or learned anything at its end. The plot was weak, and what there was of it was either hashed or dumb. Really, now... At least Toy Story had a plot and characters with... GASP! Character!

Unico (what little we see of him; most of the film was hijacked by the Nights reject and the Heathcliff extra) is wooden as the bigbads human Tetris pieces!

  • Well I guess that's why this isn't one of Tezuka's more memorable cartoons

  • @HyperSonicSquall XD I love obscure stuff, nonetheless. I like making fun of and nit-picking on movies. lol I actually adore Unico.

  • @MartenFerret You actually adore Unico? Then why didn't you tell me before we had our argument? I adore him too.

Also, want another movie to make fun of? Try The Elm-Chanted Forest. That movie makes no sense whatsoever & it is so trippy you'd think you took an entire sheet of blotter acid before watching. And I know this just from watching Narf's review of that movie.

  • @maniacaldude I've seen The Elm-Chanted Forest. I'd make fun of it here, but I cannot sit through it (it's THAT bad!).

    Yes, I adore Unico; it's his writers I don't like. :)

  • @MartenFerret Geez, that bad, huh?

You mean the people that dubbed him, at least.

  • @maniacaldude I don't have the JPN script; even if I did, it's none too likely the original would vary from the dub enough to salvage the story... Then there are the unchanging visuals; I doubt the art is deceptive. Human Teris pieces... Oh, let's not revisit that!

  • @HyperSonicSquall Well let's be fair here - this was an obscure title even back when it was *made*, so it doesn't have the same amount of exposure that, say, "The Land Before Time" had (and I mean the *original*, not the sequelitis-laden... well, sequels).

  • @ironballs16 It was pretty widespread in the USA pre-cable. Many people saw this on the early Disney Channel, and had a wide vhs release. There also was a movie version of Tezuka's Ribbon no Kenshi/Princess Knight called Choppy and the Princess. That one is obscure and is hard as hell to find even here.

  • @HyperSonicSquall To be fair though, this isn't exactly the most well-known movie in the US.

  • remember when this used to be on regular television in the 80s/early 90s?? Now they NEVER show anything that's a little dark like this for kids anymore both on TV and on the silver screen. Everything is so squeaky clean and upbeat and boring now. There are a number of movies from back in the day that I remember having a grittier edge to them -such as All Dogs go to Heaven, Fern Gully, The Secret of NYMH, Watership Down...

  • sigh. the nazis have stuck yet again. life isn't all bleached out. I don't know why they don't put out stuff darker stuff like they use too. heck even he-man in the day had morality tales and light danger to it. Secert of Nymh was awsome stuff. as was Fren Gully.

  • The thing is, as far as I remember, all this movie did for me was scare the piss out of me. I don't even know if I was able to watch it the whole way to get it's morals. But I might have just been too young.

  • well, you hear all these these people on here like "I watched it when i was really young and i had nightmares"

they can sti;; teach these same moral without frightening our children.

all the same, it's a good series

  • People are dumb when they're kids. I can't pick out a single frightening aspect about this movie.

Karuku may be a tad frightening (he's the antagonist so he should be) but at the same time he looks so odd that his appearance seems more comical than threatening.

Plus, it's good when you're a kid to get scared because when you see the bad and frightening parts in something your sure to pay double attention to the good, and beautiful parts of what you're seeing.

  • Oh my God! I saw this movie when I was a kid, and I've been trying to find it for a long time now, but I couldn't even remember the name of the movie.

Thanks so much for posting, I'm glad I finally found it ^^

At last...my long quest...as come to an end...[/intentional over-dramatization for the sake of humor]

  • dude i used to have nightmares about koruku, but I called him koruko. my dad would mimic his voice when I was being a bitch and didn't want to go to sleep. After watching it at a more adult state in myself I have one thing to say; was I that big of a pussy back then? GEEZ!

  • I remember seein this movie and I didnt know english at all but for some reason I understood every single bit of it because of the way the characters interacted with each other... this is something I will allways

    remember.

  • I always seem to feel like Unico's fate of leaving the people he cares about is in a way the moral of the story, which makes you feel like "if you have people around you that you love, let them know how much you love them and appreciate taht they're around, because you might leave, or they might leave, and you'll never have a chance to let them know."

  • She should burn that evil puppet guy.

  • i absolutely LOVED this movie growing up

  • thank you for uploading this!

havent seen it in forever! still makes me cry to this day!

  • Aw, it does to me too.. I feel like one of the demons in that crying demon scene, with all of us remembering Unico so fondly T_T

  • dude i remember this movie as a small kid,... fucked me up, lol

  • i agree. i have fond memories of this movie from childhood also, but some of the scenes were a little disturbing as a kid.

  • hahahahahhaa same here and Im glad for it.

I would never give up this childhood memory.

  • eh im kind of glad they never finished Unico, knowing the creator he probably would have had him die at the end, and although Im sure itd be emotional, who'd wanna see Unico die?

  • *opens mouth extra-wide in true anime form and screams* I WANT MORE UNICOOOOOOO!!!!!!

    hee-hee

  • The West Wind takes Unico away again......*sniff*.....does this mean there was another follow up Unico movie?

  • No, there are only two Unico movies that I'm aware of. :[ In The Island Of Magic and The Fantastic Adventures of Unico (which is the first one)

Sanrio sold Unico thus no more. T_T

  • "But for the First time in my Life. I can hardly say it...I FEEL GOOD!" *cries*

  • wow i haven't seen this movie in soo long! i luved this movie when i was a kid, thank you soo much for putting it up here and its kool, because i never saw the first one and know i did :) Its so sad about Unico's fate though; he kept getting dropped off at different places, make friends and make everyone happy and then just have to up and leave without a word. And never see them again. That would suck :( But he's just so darn cute!!!

  • I love how people are subjecting so much Christian lore on a CLASSIC JAPANESE animation

  • I'm not sure I agree with the Christian symbolism pointed out below... but the Japanese do have a certain fascination with Christian theology.

  • yeah, this is true... I swear you see more JRPG's based around Christian/Greek/Norse lore than Oriental mythology

  • By the way, I believe Holy Spirit intervened in making of this movie, much like the movie Ben-Hur.

  • I think that music at the beginning of this is soooooo romantic!

  • very cute 8)

the Sphynx's daughter annoyed me though, not for her character as much as her voice 8(

As for the Christianity symbols, I disagree. I think it's just an X part of the castle like earlier. not EVERYTHING has to be soaked in subtext you know 8P

  • Alright, if you insist, here I go. :-)

One very obvious symbolism is Unico himself.

In the Medieval Period, unicorn used to symbolize Christ or the Messiah.

Go and check wikipedia, if you don't believe me. Cross is the only visible symbolism that everyone notices in this movie.

The others however are not that obvious.

  • HA! Unico's literally killing Koruko with kindness. Neat!

And once again, I'm a little misty eyed at the ending. Poor li'l guy saves the day and does great good and can't stick around to say good by or even get a thank you. *sniff*

  • Holy crap! I haven't seen this in over 10 years!

  • Such a simple ending...yet it's so beautifully done...i really almost cried when Karuku says "But for the first time in my life, and I can hardly say it...I feel good!" Very touching

  • This movie is 10 times better than the first one.

  • The "cross" is not the only Christian symbolism here.

    1. Baptism (puppets immersed into water)

    2. Moses and burning Bush (Kuruku appeared to Toby in the early part of the movie.)

There are lots more and more. Seriously. But I can't tell you what it is unless you studied theology. It's quite amazing.

  • Wow. I see this time they didn't censor the cross symbolism like they did in the previous movie.

Unico floating on the wooden cross in the water after his pure love has purified the island of nightmares and shattered the hatred of an unnatural beast of dark magic.

Unico with his pure understanding, remaining as the christ-like figure floating away from the aftermath of hatred's departure.

They probably kept it in because no Christian could be offended by such a message. I guess.

  • Thank you for putting this into perspective. I couldn't have put it better myself. I am glad that someone was able to put my thoughts into words. This is very much like Chronicles of Narnia in many ways, but it does seems to be a little bit more Christian. The transformation of Unico always gets to me. It reaches deep and tugs at my heart strings whenever it happens. There is so much symbolism, that I probably can't begin to name every instance. I can't believe I missed out on these!

  • Beautiful,I used to watch this when I was living in Cuba.Nice message.

  • Unico: "Karoku dont worry. I'll be your friend ok?"

    Karoku: "AAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAGHHHH!!"

I know it wasnt meant to be funny but ROFL anyway XD

  • hope the dvd comes out so i can show this to my future kids and continue the great cycle of memories!

  • incredible ending...

Such an ineffable poetic lines... only pictures can deliver

  • wow! I'd really like to show this to my kids someday.

  • I felt bad for Unico when I was a child used to always cry for him. To go through life without holding onto a single friend.. without him having anyone to love him made me cry..And I am writing this now and tearing up.. Poor Unico.

  • The edning of Lord Kuruku is a true tear-jerking masterpiece.

The greatest villians are those that have good deep inside.

  • whoot thanx for posting these u rock ;D

  • no one got died in here all those animals and people turn back into them selves the spell got broken

  • How horrible that Unico is always snatched from places of newfound friendships. Yeah, it looks like a few perished with the crumbling walls. I think it's great how this has stuck out in so many minds the way it has. It's shows how truly special and unique it is. ...'shame it's shrouded in obscurity.

  • I have a theory as to why Unico must always be taken away from his friendships.

As shown at the ending (especially with the wooden cross symbolism), Unico is the christ-like figure of the series and with his pure understanding and love making him the savior of all, he must tragically suffer as a martyr in some fashion.

In this case, his fate is to never truly become at home with humans, the one thing he desires.

He must selflessly sacrifice his true desire to save others wherever he goes.

  • "He must selflessly sacrifice his true desire to save others wherever he goes."

  • yea I think so...men that sux poor things..this is depressing now....

  • oh yeah, i have that movie. the ending to that movie is amazing too

  • I don't think so. But if another Unico movie came out we'd know.

  • I love the music in this movie lol
