this isn't as great as just one light bulb as there are so many lights that the microwave must power, with one lightbulb all the energy can be concentrated into one device, thus making an even larger and better light show than the one above, its still a good show though... none of the above was the advice of an expert, just me making sense out of random crap, i talk out of my ass alot but it seems to make sense, lol

you are correct! the microwave produces radiation and the objects in the microwave absorb it. so more bulbs means less radiation per bulb and thats why there was no boom, but ill betcha they got hot as hell! lol

they didn't explode compared to other experments with just one becuase the energy input is the same.

say it takes x to blow one up.

and say a microwave produce 2x.

if you have 12 bulbs in there 1/4 are being lit(taking up energy) so 3 bulbs then that 2x being produce is geting splitt 3 ways. So each bulb gets 2/3 of x when they need x to explode. The thery this is from is basicly conservation of energy.
