If you are having second thoughts about Republican or Democratic Presidential candidates I urge you to take a close look at Mitt Romneys record. I recommend that you dont take the medias opinion or even rely on my own judgement research his accomplishments. He passed Bi-Partisan health care reform that did not socialize medicine or raise any taxes to do it. He actully reduced taxes in Massachusetts. He is also steadafst opposed ti illegal amnesty a big difference from John McCain.
He also changed his position on many, many issues to make himself look like a republican. Romney is a war monger and a power hungry elitist. There is a significant group of mormons speaking out against him. Check out Joel Skousen, for example.

If Ron Paul had his way, many Americans wouldn't even be able to afford SCHOOL because it would be PRIVATE in his fantasy world. There would be no welfare state or help for poor people to advance in society. Not every single person can pull himself up by his own bootstraps, despite what economic conservatives claim. There are some people born into poverty and some who need help getting up. It's not "socialist." Besides, even if it were, who the fuck cares? How does it affect you?
Would Goldwater have even supported Ron Paul if he were still alive?? Goldwater was one of the best Republicans in the last few decades. However, he wasn't extremely anti-labor or anti-minimum wage or any of that other bullshit that Paul is. He at least had some sense. His laissez-faire attitude was rejected by mainstream America over 100 years ago! He has little new to offer. Libertarianism is NOT new. The LP has been around since 72, for one thing. There are many well-known libertarians of the old days like Albert Jay Nock and Robert Taft. However, history has passed them by, and it will pass Paul by. This is not a revolution. It's just a bunch of deluded libertarians and paranoid conspiracy theorists.
He hides behind states' rights to make it SEEM like he's a libertarian. But he's far from it. His extremely strict constructionist views of the constitution would be very dangerous if implemented. Thank God we rejected all that BS decades ago. The thing about Paul is that he uses a lot of good-sounding rhetoric, but he has few facts to back up many of positions. I'm an ex-supporter of Paul. Now that I've thought about it long and hard, I've realized he's not worth it. He's not even a libertarian! He just hides behind it. Sure, economically he is, but socially he's actually very conservative and authoritarian. He doesn't even believe in the separation of church and state! If he were running for state office, many of supporters (esp. the libertarians), I bet you, would revoke their support instantly and call him a loon.

The only thing I don't like about Ron Paul is that he's always stirring up hate towards China. The Chinese are a wonderful people and I have been there many times. And while the government is not with out fault, at least they do not intrude on the peoples lives half as much as they do here in the US. I was there for 4 months and didn't see one driver get a traffic ticket.

If Ron Paul had his way, many Americans wouldn't even be able to afford SCHOOL because it would be PRIVATE in his fantasy world. There would be no welfare state or help for poor people to advance in society. Not every single person can pull himself up by his own bootstraps, despite what economic conservatives claim. Would Goldwater have even supported Ron Paul if he were still alive?? Goldwater was one of the best Republicans in the last few decades. However, he wasn't extremely anti-labor or anti-minimum wage or any of that other bullshit that Paul is. He at least had some sense. Goldwater also wasn't even in the least bit aligned with the Religious Right. Paul has many views and positions that could appeal to the evangelicals.

His laissez-faire attitude was rejected by mainstream America over 100 years ago! He has little new to offer. Libertarianism is NOT new. The LP has been around since 72, for one thing. There are many well-known libertarians of the old days like Albert Jay Nock and Robert Taft. However, history has passed them by, and it will pass Paul by. This is not a revolution. It's just a bunch of deluded libertarians and paranoid conspiracy theorists.

He hides behind states' rights to make it SEEM like he's a libertarian. But he's far from it. His extremely strict constructionist views of the constitution would be very dangerous if implemented. Thank God we rejected all that BS decades ago. The thing about Paul is that he uses a lot of good-sounding rhetoric, but he has few facts to back up many of positions. I'm an ex-supporter of Paul. Now that I've thought about it long and hard, I've realized he's not worth it. He's not even a libertarian! He just hides behind it. Sure, economically he is, but socially he's actually very conservative and authoritarian. He doesn't even believe in the separation of church and state! If he were running for state office, many of supporters (esp. the libertarians), I bet you, would revoke their support instantly and call him a loon.

The only thing I don't like about Ron Paul is that he's always stirring up hate towards China. The Chinese are a wonderful people and I have been there many times. And while the government is not with out fault, at least they do not intrude on the peoples lives half as much as they do here in the US. I was there for 4 months and didn't see one driver get a traffic ticket.

I have a few bad days myself as I am running out of money. Home remodeling is not the trade to be in right now. There will be riots but they will be against the system of control all in the name of Homeland Security. It's coming and hang on for a rough bumpy ride.
