I remember when this song was being played on the R&B stations back then. I was not saved and did not purposely listen to Gospel unless it was a cross over like this one. She is such an extraodinary singer today that we forget how she exploded onto the R&B and gospel scene many yrs ago. I'm sure she was one of the first gospel singers to have their music to be played in steady rotation on the R&B stations. Now days they hand out Lifetime Achievement Awards to babies in the industry. Vanessa deserves one and has the history to prove it.
