If a person worships others besides Allaah, then that person is a Mushrik (polytheist).

HADEETH- The Prophet Muhammad said: "If you ask, ask of Allaah, and if you seek help, then seek the help of Allaah." [Tirmidthee, good and authentic]

HADEETH- The Prophet said: "Dua is worship". [SAHEEH (authentic) - Reported by Ahmad and the compilers of the Sunans]

HADEETH- The Prophet said: "Whosoever dies whilst making dua (invocation, supplication) to others besides Allaah, will enter the HellFire." [Related by al-Bukhaaree (no. 4297)]

the instructions in this hadeeth are from rasool allah himself and yes he used to visit his mothers grave because she was his mother and the only other reason allahs prophet used to visit the graves was to remind people of death and to pray FOR the person not to them. give me one ayat from the uran or a saheeh hadeeth where it says you are allowed to build on graves.sheikh muhammad ibn abdul wahaab was a reviver and he has acted on the orders of prophet muhammad

I agree with you that Muslims should not worship or pray to holy men, dead or alive. However, destroying their graves is not really the way to prevent it. Instead we should preach to these Muslims about the true teachings of Islam. Otherwise, even if we destroy the graves of holy men, these ignorant people would still worship and pray to these holy men in their heart. The Prophet of Islam himself used to visit his mother's grave; it can remind us of the hereafter and soften heart.

Isn't deviating from the practices of the Prophet Bidaah? By destroying these sites, the Saudis are destroying the past of the Ummah, and without that past there can be no present or future.

The arguments the Saudis use to destroy religious sites can be used to some of the practices of the Hajj as well, becasue these can lead to idolatry of Abraham, Ishmael or his mother. Should these practices therefore be abolished do you think? Please brother use your brain because not using our brains has resulted in the current state of miseries of this Ummah.

The grave of the Prophet of Islam is within his Mosque in Madinah. If these hadiths are sahih, how the companions of the Prophet of Islam could let this happen? I therefore have reasonable grounds to believe that these hadiths are fake.

@syedhasan1964 tut tut tut, wash your mouth out, ahle sunnah wal jamaah meaning sunnis have done an ijma on the fact that all the hadeeth in saheeh bukharee and sahee tirmidhee and shaheee muslim are authentic. read the isnaad meaning chain of narrators they are sahabiye rasool.your reasonable grounds mean jack shit to me the references are there from the most saheeh books in islam after the quraan paak. first sahih bukhari then sahih muslim then sahih tirmidhi after the quran are most authentic
