my nan lives near chew valley lake, and the villages around, and this is NO lie, i stayed at my nans when i was about 8, and i could hear foot steps, both my nan and gramp where sleeping so i knew they wernt walking around, and i thought i saw shadows after, work that one out!! and with teh village of morton, it is more than likley to be true because of the old village. So, I havent yet seen this happen from when Ive been past the lake, but im sure its true =]

Ive seen civil war ghosts in Gettysburg trip when I was a kid... parents said I was just tired and seeing things. at the age of 12 I guess I too was thinking I saw nothing but what I wanted to believe. What I still don't understand how God allows spirits flowing freely on earthrealm. Even most of u's can't see them, but we can still sense them. Of course if you're openminded. So much we don't understand.... but good spirits should be escorted to the light and the bad ones to the shadow where it belongs. No reason to leave them on earth.... I really don't understand.

One time when I came home from work at night, I saw a black figure sitting in a chair on my neighbor's porch. It was all black human form. It just sits there motionless. Something was really wrong. So I curse and throw rocks at it. The black figure didn't move at all. So I just ignore it and went inside my house.

I've seen shadow people before. I view them as annoying more than anything.One got in my bedroom once and I swore at it till it moved out. Only seen them in human form a few times but often they sort of acting as fleeting shadows that don't like to be pinned down. I don't really know what they are and have looked at both logical and spirital explanations but can't really find one to explain it. :I Swears work sometimes.

I didn't believe in ghosts either until an harrowing 8 hr. encounter while babysitting in an apparently haunted house. I think ghosts especially like to give skeptics & non-believers the full tilt boogie. With any luck, you'll

have an encounter that will scare the living sh*t out of you.

When I tried to ignore that 1st ghost, it attacked me (that's what I meant by the full-tilt-boogie). Sensitivity runs the gamut from being about as sensitive as a stone to someone as yourself who can see a lot. I'm somewhere near the low middle, I guess. I rarely see apparitions; I'm probably more of an emphatic. I always wish those obtuse folk who are so sure of everything, a nice, intense paranormal experience to open up their minds a bit.

I used to go to Chew Valley lake as a kid, we were all told the stories of a flooded village and when the water was low you could see the church spire. Sometimes you could hear the bell. Of course this was all just kids stories but its all interesting. Nice vids.
