Those were the feckin days. That Leicester team with the likes of Izzet, Lennon and Parker would have pissed that league had they been together at the start of the season. Amazing moment but nothing beats the time Walshie scored the winner against Derby in the play off final a few years before for complete euphoria for me.
@SBOWsteffan He shinned it!!!!! he even says so himself, was gutted on the day as flew over for game,
as a life long Palace fan I returned the following year to see us do that to Sheff United in the last min, amazing to do it at Wmbley the very next year.
Spectacular day to remember. I even remember the absolute silence after the ball hit the back of the net. It felt like an eternity and then, then the realisation that the ball went in and the eruption of noise from the Leicester masses is something I'll take to my grave. Amazing!
Only a nipper when I saw this...but still ingrained into the memory. Remember my dad and grandad both hitting the roof when Claridge's 'shinner' went in. Tremendous, tremendous moment.
i cant spell wanted ha i was sat with my ex wife(forest fan lmfao) and she walked out and went home(we were only dating at the time).for england its"some people are on the pitch...." for foxes fans its alan parry"this could be the winner form claridge.....IT IS!"
Lol at th4 celebration :)
