  • Who can name the outside color??

  • it sounds like a truck

  • This is a battleship not a speedboat... i care not about the track numbers...

  • me gusta :))

  • They must've been deaf when they tested the exhausts at bentley, it sounds awful.

Apart from that it's absolute sex on wheels.

  • ITS A FUCKIN BOAT ON ASPHALT!!

  • The Mulsanne is 6800+ lbs! Pure majestic.

  • The side profile and overall silhouette is more elegant than the Arnage. I'd say it's a step forward.

  • @SPMNDK89 I guess it's all a matter of opinion regarding aesthetics, but the Arnage has a timeless look to it.

  • Cool Car i like it and i Love Volkswagen

I Hope Toyota and GM will lose all that volkswagen become 1 st in Car industries

Bentley is Best i sat in the mulsanne in frankfort Car Show 2011

  • The Mulsanne is the quintessential British luxury saloon. Very impressive straight line performance and more than adequate handling.

  • That color is just awful.

  • a bentley like this don't have to be fast, just luxury ;)

  • Okay so you can drive it to the track and have fun with it at the track too! lol

  • sounds like those twin turbos would suck your ear drums out

  • interesting test for such a large saloon. It may be well over 2 tons in weight but it can still handle itself well. I saw one of these last night in satin white, which is a $28.000 paint option, it looked a bit bling bling, I'd have a deep solid black with a light tan leather interior.

  • Interesting color, what is that color called?

  • the 2011 Hyundai Sonata SE 2.0T is the best

  • like a moon

  • They say the Aston Martin Rapide is the sexiest sedan on the road.

They told me the Maserati Quattroporte S was sleek enough to end it all.

    Jaguar XJ.. hah.

    Audi A8. Please.

    Bentley. Mulsanne.

    The epitome of luxury.

So nice it needn't slim down.

  • @BitchesLoveHardstyle what the fuck was this shitty monologue?

  • I'm really not a fan of the Mulsanne and Arnage.. the other Bentleys I love though

  • sound is freak..

  • @jaquarlexuscentral the mulsanne does not hav a w12 engine

  • it doesnt seem flat at all.

  • meh..

  • Still amazingly fast....Too bad most owners will never use this power.

  • the breaking is crazy~~~

  • You gotta admit... for a car of this size and weight- those numbers are pretty impressive!!

  • lol at it almost tipping over

  • I know this car is about absolute silence and luxury but heck it moves with authority.

  • IT SOUNDS SO DIRTY!!

  • That was nothing but a waste of petrol

  • Volkswagen ruined Bentley. I know this car is still nice & all cuz it's a Benltey but the front is god awful & the stupid W12 engine that VW put in the Bentleys is G-A-R-B-A-G-E! What happened to the legendary 6 & 3/4 V8's that Bentley used for decades VW?

  • @JaguarLexusCentral it has a pushrod v8

  • @JaguarLexusCentral this thing doesn't have the w12 from the continental gt instead it has the same old school 6.75 v8 pushrod from the old bentleys handmade today ofcourse.

  • @evans4you I stand corrected, this car has an outstanding engine. But the front lights are still terrible :).

  • @JaguarLexusCentral

Well if you knew anything about this car then you would know it has a all new 6.75 liter V8, not a W12 like the continental. MAN you look stupid.

  • @BearsDkills I never actually mentioned this particular car linking it to the W12 engine, if you read my comment carefully & were smart you would notice that. So technically speaking, I win & you are the one who looks stupid. OWNED!

  • @JaguarLexusCentral

"I know this car is still nice & all cuz it's a Benltey but the front is god awful & the stupid W12 engine that VW put in the Bentleys is G-A-R-B-A-G-E! "

this certainly imply's you think this car has a W12 buddy, write clearly next time to avoid getting bashed.

  • This is why edmunds and motor trend are pure trash! They're all about paper stats. Paper stats actually mean nothing, especially in a car like this. It's about how it feels to be inside the car. Seriously, 1/4 mile times? Slalom speeds? 0.79g on the skidpad? Those are things only honda geeks dwell over. People who buy expensive cars like this could care less about stats, including price.

  • @youngq88 Somewhat, but its still nice too see stats. and trash you ay? then EVERY other motoring magazine and programme must be trash too because they ALL do the same tests..

  • pretty outstanding performance

  • Lets see a Rolls Royce Phantom Or Ghost on the Track :P

  • A Muslanne with dealer plates pulled up next to me at a red light today, and a Prius across the intersection shit itself.

  • ...its almost like having your house doing a track test...that bentley is niiiice....

  • This Bentley is 100% British. Its not based on a VW platform like the Continental. Designed, engineered and built in Britain. It takes craftsmen three months to build it and fit the interior.

  • @plaidzinc .... but it was designed by a Dutch man ;-)

  • Can someone please explain the term "rollout" and how it helps drop the 0-60 times?

  • It looks like a phantom fucked a continental gt

  • no sport setting for suspension then? that would be a bit trivial I guess...

  • bouncy suspension??

  • @JortvV

its a luxury car... not a sports cars

so yes it has nice soft suspensions u could run over logs with and not feel anything

  • I'm sorry to say this but this isn't anywhere near as good as 2010 Bentley Continental Flying Spur. Continental is still the best. These are Hyundai - like figures.

    /watch?v=Qpj126n921s

  • @sspope looks like hyundai made it too. worse yet, looks like a chinese copy of a bentley

  • @tried12usernames To me it looks excelent, learn something about how Bentleys looks in the past. It just doesn't perform like a modern Bentley should.

  • @sspope this modernization of what bentleys looked like ended up terribly wrong. there's no way you can look at it's "face" and think "hmmm well done Bentley, yes, quite marvellous" and proceed to gulping your brandy. those lamps, they're so SHINY, it freaks me out. and there's no blend, it looks like they were painted on it, or maybe they're stickers, it's just ghastly

  • I know for a fact if I drove that car I could get wayyyyyy better numbers.

  • the brake dive is crazy.... that can't feel good at all

  • The thing had so much brake dive, you can see the air suspension leveling it out @ :41

  • Dear Edmunds,

Thank you very much for kindly uploading your videos...

... yet, may I suggest you display more sights and sounds, instead of images of data that could be otherwise be presented in written form. They tend to be boring...

  • If you can afford one of those you can also buy something really fast so it doesnt matter how the bentley performs...

  • @Annoson Indeed. This is not made to perform, track times will be so irrelevant.

  • if you dont need it, give it to me!!

  • Great numbers for a boat

  • The slalom and lateral g numbers were expected, as was the quick acceleration times (huge motor) but I certainly didn't expect such a great braking figure. WOW, that a lot of stopping power for such an elephant of a car.

  • VEry nice car but Rolls Royce and Maybach are much better in styling and in performance.

  • @Frenzy696 Maybach has styling? I mean the looks of a car is subjective thing, everyone has a different opinion of the looks of a car but personally I thing the Mayback looks similar to a mercedes. 10x better engineerd maybe.

  • At first i thought this car was ugly.. now i'm actually starting to like it! :D

  • Fast, but leans like crazy in turns. Slalom and g were quite lame.

  • @sparkss4 yea I was impressed until the slalom.

  • That's like snowboading with your 90 years old grandpa

  • WOW, very quick for a 5000 pounder!

  • the lean on that thing is awful. well i suppose its gonna be comfy

  • the lean on that thing is awful

  • that would be nice, if it didnt look like the rolls royce phantoms ugly cousin

  • Sounds like a shitty diesel and sounds like it only revs to about 4k RPM even though it's not a diesel.

  • @carsaregood911 - it does rev quite low. I believe the red line is a 4500RPM. Then again, it's a gentleman's cruiser and not a boy-racer.

  • Respond to this video...- not a boy-racer's car, I meant.

  • Look at that body roll when it brakes

  • track numbers for a bentley are as irrelevant as using inches when measuring liquid

a real test would have been if the back seat passenger could still count his money while being reclined & massaged by the heated/cooled/ventilated seat

  • @mellowdalyricist With the soft suspension, he won't even feel it. ;)

  • @mellowdalyricist

    Bentley is a driver's car.

  • @mellowdalyricist hahaha your comment made my day!

  • @mellowdalyricist Really? So when, for example, your basement floods...do you sit there and calculate how many gallons of water there is or do you say "we had about 10 inches"? What about when it rains? You know, the weather people always tell us in inches....Also, how about when this Bentley needs to get a VIP away from a security threat it's slower than a number of cars, including a Jaguar XJ? Plus it's just interesting...

  • @AhJotahTube a basement flood is the only time i can think about when inches are used. when a town floods, inches are used to estimate the amount of water, unless the town happens to be perfectly flat, inches wouldnt really help. also.. this VIP should have an escape tunnel for such situation & not rely on a car

  • @mellowdalyricist you could always use a good getaway car, from potential attempts on your life

  • I love that whoever buys this car probably wont care about any of this stuff

  • is that a roll royce?

  • @khunopie wow the video title clearly & bluntly says Bentley Mulsanne and you ask if it's a Rolls Royce? Come on, are you serious...

  • That is one SOFT suspension.

  • that is faster than a buick regal grand national 6 cylinder, which is faster than a vett in the late 80's.

  • i love classic face

  • boat..

why call are car Mulsanne?? isn't that a bit like saying the Hitler??? I'm just saying

  • @sidewayznut2009 - Mulsanne was a dictactor? Wow, I didn't know... I just thought it was the name of the world-famous straight at Le Mans where Bentley triumphed several times... I'm just saying...

  • @sidewayznut2009 Jesus kid, get an education. Mussolini was the dictator, Mulsanne is a corner at Le Mans raceway.

  • hideous!

  • That and a RoyalsRoyce are bought so that you can be driven in it, not for you to drive your self hahaha

  • bet it feels like butter on a long road trip

  • i dont get it, whats the point of a test like this for a car like that! its a palace on wheels!

  • Its pretty quick for its size.

  • traditional bentley, powerful 6.7L V8

  • when it was going through the slalom, it kinda looked like humpty dumpty

  • This car is surprisingly quick for how heavy it is...

  • Looks Like The Brooklyns And GT Had A Baby

  • this car seems to meet all the needs for me and my growing family.

  • @siterevision lol

  • so much nose dive, I thought the back wheels would come off the ground!

  • like this vid. well done.

  • Id be scared shitless if that beast put the brakes on coming at me 0:37

  • @VAR1UM LMAO

  • nothing like a pushrod V8

  • my god this thing flexes every bit of that big frame and high weight.

  • A beautiful looking Bentley, its funny to see it pushed around on the track though.

  • extreme nose dive and lots of body roll!!! I'd expect better from however much this freaking car costs. Looks ok and is pretty quick though

  • @SavingPrivateBrian ure fucking dumb

get ariel atom if u wanna trackcar for less money

its a freaking luxorious premium class limousine.

phantom and maybach are the rivals

  • @t0rq21 Im dumb? Why should the fact that its a premium luxury car affect it's performance on the track? Look at the 2002 BMW 745Li, thats a big car and there is almost no body roll because ITS DESIGNED NOT TO. Obviously if BMW can put that feature into a $70,000 car, Bentley should be able to put it into a $200,000+ car

  • @SavingPrivateBrian mulsanne is not designed tp put some numbers on a skipad

and cmon, 7er and this is a different league

  • @t0rq21 It is in a different league, but it is still a large luxury car that performs well, and this should be able to perform equally as well if it has so much more power and costs so much more. I think the body roll and nosedive are due in large part to the soft, forgiving suspension that needs to be present to allow for such as smooth luxurious ride as you would expect from a car that costs as much as this does

  • much rather get a better sports car for this price...

  • @xtiger357 The people who buy these cars already have better sports cars in their garage bro.......

  • they need some active body control on this beast!

  • The most beautiful Sherman tank in existence!

  • So this is what it's like to drive a boat fast

  • This car sucks at handling and getting grip.

  • @NigguhJason Very insightful.

  • "...believe it or not the 3 ton car puts up some impressive numbers."

Save when it comes to corning. Yeesh. I think the Kia Koup put up a better slalom and skid pad.

  • @johnnyr25 Yeah, but a chauffeur would get fired for cornering that fast.

  • Comment removed

  • On the skid pad it looked like it was going to tip over lol

  • whole nose dive!

  • would take over the ghost

  • I LOVE BENTLEY, but this is really ugly. Anyways, great performance.

  • That thing is a land yacht.

  • @chaff5 Yup... and it sails on asphalt too lol

  • @chaff5 it's an apartment building on wheels

  • This car can do alot better its just that InsideLine's drivers don't know how to drive.

  • damn that things fast

  • the old one look better and there nothing espicial about this car

  • i dont think its made for speed lol

  • @Josephalosaurus - it is made for speed. Just not track cornering.

  • I love that Bentley is finally going for the Phantom and it shows.

  • WOWWWWW look how low it dives and the bang end is lift so high

  • Very impressive

  • 111ft is VERY impressive for a 5000 pounder!

  • @toyotas2006

    Very!

  • @toyotas2006 the $20,000 or so carbon ceramic brakes do come in handy to put forth a 111ft stopping distance from 60.

  • first
