How to: Enable FP2 style transitions in FP1 devices/N95 8GB

i did everything, but when go to themes, then options, there is not theme effects, just help and exit.

i am using n95 v 35.0.002  rm 159

I did this on my n95-4 v20 firmware, and the only effect that I see is the smooth transition of selecting through different icons in app menus. Options menus don't have any animation like the ones in this video.

nobody specified that this works only on V20 firmwares, i have V31 on N95 8GB (hacked) i don't have the resource folder on C...can someone came out with another tutorial for V31?

Fail. Of course it's hackable, there are a lot of tutorials covering HelloOX. But don't keep your hopes high, the Kastor framework has been removed from the N95 8GB.

yes obfezer i did... you have to go to themes twice like this

FIRST TIME on and of theme effects and exit

SECOND TIME enter and do the same thing again and exit should work now

if you dont have a Skins Folder, disable caps, and copy the skins folder from Z:/Resource to C:/RESOURCE

Hi c3mky,

I thought Nokia would put this in the N95's firmwares, too. However, it's already been several months since the N81 got this feature. The N95-1 has seen 2 updates already and the N95 8GB has seen 1. None of these firmwares feature the effects. This is exactly the type of game that Nokia like to play...
