  • Wow you went during a very sunny time! I went in April and it was nice and cloudy with lots of rain :)

  • im moving there soon cuase for is so pretty

  • Oh god I grew up in this area. I can't believe people are traveling acrosss the country to go to Forks...What the hell. I

  • i live in fairbury nebraska ! and there are less people in this AWFUL town then in forks !

  • washington is too dam cold and summer is short... But I still love it :)

  • Did you take a self guided tour or did you join one of the tour groups?

Trying to work out what would be best as we're planning on staying at La Push & don't have kids/teenagers.

  • I use to live in Forks and the fishing and hunting is outstanding. Other than that there isn't much to do there. I still loved it.

  • that is NOT the cullen house.

  • It's so sunny in Forks! LOL

  • My hometown. I was born there dec.14,1984. Im about to be moving back there. I miss it.

  • i live in froks i am a girl in the movie

  • was it worth going?

  • i used to live in forks and im a quileute native I used to go to the high school there and we moved down to hot ass california....

  • I was born in Forks! but i dont remember it... i just remember people asking me if i am a vampire because of the damn twilight series..

  • I love Forks, but I don't understand why they have put all of the Twilight stuff up to make it seem real. The truck, The houses, The parking spot....I much enjoy the scenery and hiking and beaches nearby

  • Forks is okay. The ride up there is much prettier than the town itself. It's actually kind of bland there. Not what I pictured at all.

  • I live in forks and my dad was going to buy the cullens house about 18 years ago but decided not to

  • I love the sound of your voice, it's fucking beautiful.

  • my parents just got back from washington and said all the girls were coming from there because of the book signings.. but i was wondering.. is that THE high school that they filmed at cause i thought that high school home of the spartans thing was just for twilight

  • they didn't film it there but they copied the sign exactly for the film

  • your soo lucky :(

  • I know a girl who grandma lives in forks,

and she is visiting her now.

i wanna go to forkssss :(

  • pff oh wut i live in forks!

well nvm i live in la push cuz im so kewl haha jk

but i go to skewl in forks :))

    jealous??? just joking

  • @meganmb13 LOL

    No you don't.

  • Why in all the seven hells would you want to visit Forks? I personally would much rather visit Paris.

  • im going there for my birthday and i cant wait im sooo excited

  • I went there like a few days ago. im suprised its sunny because srsly theres a giant raincloud above it. its pretty small and not all that cracked up to be

  • Ha ha! People on these comments are SO funny:]. I think it's pretty stupid that the one who said 'they have no pot' which is very retarted. Baha! And it's also funny that he/she said at the end of the comment that the only thing to do there is get wasted! Wow, pretty dumb!

    --Steven Hill

    ;].

  • The town i live in is smaller it's 2600 people lol small town girl

  • Seems mighty boring there haha

  • so why would you go

  • that was not the bella's car... the bella's car is veeery different, and, of corse, that wasn't the bella's house.. it doesn't have all that trees on the way... but about the cullen's house i really don't know.

    sorry about the english ;)

  • Why would you think that is not bellas tuck?

I mean I agree with you on the back of it. but the front part looks exactly how it's supposed to. I have a 1965 Chevy and its like the one in the movie. But why do you think that?

  • LOL i love the sign going into forks. probably made in a dude named george's back yard, and the stunning population of 3,175. i love forks, though. i go campin there every year. GO FORKS

  • oh my god! ZZ i know you! lol and dude we live here lol

  • hey! you live in forks right? could you tell me a little about it? it's my dream town.

  • its your dream toen because of a movie..

    lmao. wow.

    ahahahahahah!

  • No,I like rain.

I have liked forks before Twilight, cause It is a rainy town of course. That or Seattle.

  • Same here

  • Hmm those are two very different places. I've lived all over Washington and I can tell you that most of the state is like that. Honestly, there are about 100 other towns just like Forks. There's nothing that makes it any more special than anywhere else out here. Seattle is great though. So much to do.

  • i liked it there lived there but boring as FUCK sorry for my french

  • Ok, a really dorky question coming up!

Have the people of Forks just put the Cullen's stuff there to joke, or have Stephenie Meyer gotten inspired by a real family there named Cullen?

  • They just put the stuff up since the books have become so popular, I figure it's more incentive for the tourists to come visit.

  • Forks just put up stuff about the Cullens cause of twilight. Stephenie meyer simply looked up the rainiest place in the US and forks came up, and she put that as her setting in her book.

  • I know. lol I just got confused by all the stuff.

  • @BusigaBecky also i read that steph had a dream about a sparkling vampire sitting in a meadow with a human girl and they were talking .. she just kept them in her mind until she wrote about them :P

  • im pretty much just in edmonton. i thought id mention it cause most people were mentioning where they lived so yeah...

  • lol haha i would have thought because

of the movie that it would rain lol, well

    that sucks ass lol.

im gonna move there right when

    i finish school.

    lol hey wanna come jk(:

  • omg i wish i could go there!! it looks so pretty. aww you didn't get a La push video.

umm 1 question did it rain uncontrollably??

  • No, we didn't really take much video when we were down in La Push. Mostly just lots of photos.

It didn't rain AT ALL while we were there haha. It was pretty disappointing. Not the true forks experience.

  • @HighCheezeFactor Yes it is the true Forks experience. We get a lot of rain, i know i live in Forks.

  • OMG! It's my hometown! and there's ZZ's high school! EEEEEEEEP! MY MIDDLE SCHOOL!

  • No, she got a lotta stuff wrong and never ever lived here, just googled the place with the most rainfall in the USA.

  • I just returned from Forks last week where I spent a day being a total fangirl; however, I spent 5 other days hiking and enjoying the many state or national parks. It seems like you can't drive more than 10-20 miles before you run into the next park. I thought the Hoh rain forest was breathtaking and seeing elk for the first time was exciting. I found it slighly humorous that a town of 3175 people could support *two* stand-alone expresso stands!

  • Haha whoever took a trip here JUST for Twilight purposes is a waste. Unless it was to meet like the author of course.

  • wow.

i love twilight, but not enough to pay for a plane ticket, and walk around a place that I am surely positive doesnt have vampires, or werewolfs. Before the book was written & became popular, non of those tourist sites were there. & its not even raining.lol. But im done with my rant, i just think its a waste to go to a place thats popular in a book. I mean what do u expect to see? Some pale guy and girl jumping through the trees together?

  • Umm didn't buy a plane ticket. We were going down to Seattle on a road trip to meet Stephenie Meyer and decided to go down to Forks since we had 3 days to kill. It was more something to do, plus the scenery alone is worth it....so sorry, I personally wouldn't consider it a waste.

  • Ohh, i thought u were just another one of those crazed fans that go there, saying how the only reason they're going is so they can see Edward.

I think its a waste when girls go an try to see fictional characters. But your clearly not, so sorry if i came off somewhat rude.

  • Haha ya know, we aren't that crazy. I mean granted we still did the run of the town, but like I said it was all in good fun really. No worries though, never thought you were rude. Just figured I would set the record straight, so as to not make ourselves seem like a couple of loonies :)

  • my grandma used to own the miller tree inn. she lives right next to it now.. and my aunt owns LEPPELL's Flowers.

  • omg i saw my car in the student parking lot

  • ......

  • Haha i live in forkss.

  • haha i live in tacoma washington

  • wait so Stephanie Meyers took real names of people for the movie?

  • this place is real? lol.

  • We just got back from there, it was a wonderful experience, we went there for the DVD release party, drove 13 hours and enjoyed every minute!!! Check out my videos that I just posted!! I went to St. Helens Oregon, thats where they filmed the movie and we got to see BELLAS HOUSE!!!

  • What part of Alberta are you in?

  • did you go to the store called dazzled by twilight

  • WTF Y IS IT SUNNY ?!!?

  • where you guys from anyways

  • Alberta, Canada

  • lol 'and a long fuuckin walk lemme tell yoou!'

    ur very entertaining lol

  • dude, Forks sucks! XP I hate that goddamn place, i lived in it well before Twilight came along and brought it's annoying tourists with it. Seriously, the movie wasn't even shot here, everyone is wasting their time guzzling precious gas flocking to a place that's only mentioned in a book. (-_-)

  • The movie wasn't shot in Forks? Where was it filmed then? I thought it was filmed in Washington Forks.

  • only the 'welcome to forks' sign was shot there and that's what, 30 seconds? the entire rest of the movie was filmed in Portland, none of the actors even set foot in the place. come on now, if yer gonna travel 1700 miles to visit forks, why not go the extra 100 or so miles and visit the actual site where it was filmed?

  • I'm so glad you told me, I thought it was all filmed in Forks... But yeah, you're right, Portland is really close so I don't get why people don't go and see the real places that were shot in the movie.

  • We just got back from Forks and it was totally worth driving to Oregon afterwards to see the movie spots. It was awesome in Forks because of the Books, we got to see everything that is mentioned but for the movie St. Helens was a great spot to go!!

  • It was filmed in St. Helens Oregon, some in portland, some in LA and a little bit in washington. The majority was in St. Helens though, I have videos of St. Helens, we got to see where they filmed a lot of the movie!

  • Forks does NOT suck. Lived here 15 years, love it.

  • Actually i live here, and forks kinda does suck cuz' 1) They shut down the swimming pool, 2) There is NOTHING TO DO AT ALL OUT HERE! 3) Edward and Bella were onl6y here once. BOO!

  • Check my visit out

  • if it wererainy then it wouldseem more like forks.

  • i lived in forks for 6 years....my grandpa pretty much owns the town..david mansfield. my dad was killed there to in a logging accident.....i love this town......i own some of it too.......

  • what's next?

  • waaaaaaa i want it i want to go to forks !!!!!! oooww you are lucky but jajajajajaja that of the Cullen's mail box is very funny!!!

  • yeah,.., it was a small ass town and very boring. i mean i live in PA, and forks was hardly even known. plus if you see in some video's that it is not the same from the movie, b/c the movie was mostly taped in oregon and not washington.

  • nothing is anything like I imagined it. it isnt right in the movie either. I just dont like it.. I mean its beautiful but not what I wanted

  • i bet forks woulda got alot of visitors during the making n after the the movie twilight was out in cinema's. I heard it was a boring ass town...it does look like a boring town but its a beautiful place to live. i guess it aint gonna b soo boring for a while with all these twilight fanatics visiting

  • Lol, so would I iluvtwilight, so would I!

  • haha I'd open the cullens mailbox who knows what could pop out xP

  • reeeeaallly beautiful! :D

  • wow, everyone has sunny footage of forks. when we went it was raining... genuine peninsula weather.

  • Ugh I know right...we were slightly disappointed. We were there 2 days and it was between 25 to 30 degrees Celsius both days and constantly sunny lol. So we didn't get the true Forks experience.

  • LOL! The "H-O-H"?? Uhm. Well, actually it's just pronounced "Hoe" rainforest.

    I am from Forks.

  • We are actually aware of that, it's just what we like to call it. Plus allot of the town people we ran into also called it H-O-H hehe, so you may need to send out a memo :p

  • nice.

  • that's fuking amazing<3
