@Errefxul : Hello, i used Pro Tools to record the ambient guitar and 'Reason' for the synthesizers. For the ambient guitar i kept it really simple- i added a lot of delay and reverb and just experimented with playing around with the sound. For the heavy section i used a lot of distortion and panned a few guitar tracks hard left and hard right ( you can also hear some paino and mellotron choir in this section). For the last section i played piano and reversed the sound. I kept it simple basically

WOW!! This is incredible. The guitar at 2:15 really gave it a post metal vibe. What an absolutely beautiful track. You have talent man, id love to hear a whole album like this.

@blackmetalblunt thank you for your kind comments. I hope i am trying to create something a bit original. I am not very happy with the mix of this track- it gets a bit too loud at 2.15, and it scares people :). But hopefully after some polishing, re recording certain parts and remixing i should hopefully have an album out for a free download- hopefully summer 2011. If you are interested i will keep people updated

@ProgDogMan it's not about getting loud, it gives it so much more dynamics! good bands do this all the the time (listen to "Like Herod" by Mogwai for example). I just think it could be recorded in a higher quality. Great track, but i think it could be longer :)

@ashevm Yes the quality is not great, i have to admit. The original is longer- like 8 minutes long. Hopefully in time i will release the original in way higher quality.

I'm really impressed with the transition work, that's something I can never get right between heavy and soft, so, kudos
