I wish the MTA give all of the Orion V to Staten Island instead of those Orion 7.

I don't like the orignal Orion 7's but I like the NG Orion 7's. There's just a little bit more room and it sounds more like a "bus". They are cool.

Wow.. You guys took your NGs with Lead Acid? Our NGs and OG VII HEVs batteries are already screwing up. Orion will be replacing them ($65K/bus) for free. We already have 1 converted to Lithium Ion battery.

Because it is cheaper to change, lasts twice as long, and in the end MTA would be saving $27,100 per bus, I think.

And MTA wanted to "fill their budget gap"?

I was board 3813 on S48 bus it had cord bell and it's had a seats better than mta bus seats in queens.

Nice.....I got a pic of the NG on the S51 @ night time. the best area to take bus videos @ is across where the buses all turn near that traffic light you get to see the SIR also!
