  • anything is possible with a bike!

  • Good show and awsome loads! I had a bike house years ago with a rolling weight of over 900lbs,ao good job indeed!

  • You own a lot of stuff, i could only fill about 4 trailers, with furniture.

  • Marvellous, the amount of load on that trailer, and the spirit of the operation. I use a modified simple two-wheel hand truck tied to a strong carrier by cut up bicycle tubing. See vid on 'cheapest strongest bicycle trailer'. Neither can cart as much as your excellent huge trailer can, but they're within reach of the poor, so worth mentioning. Regards, Bruce Thomson in New Zealand.

  • The DUMB shit of a landlord..... GREED< GREED< GREED in a 4/5th empty block....

    OR MOVE...

    Nice day to MOVE.

  • Really cool video. Totally inspiring. Can't wait to see you move to Florida!

  • An inspirational video to be sure but, what struck me was the type of stuff you have.

About ten years ago I moved a friend of mine with my 3T flat bed truck after he jumped ship to NM. No problem, I love him like a brother but, he had the same assortment of art and ISP computer equipment that you have and he is also a huge bike enthusiast. The 45 ml. one way trip made the truck a necessity and it still took two trips to get it all to my barn. Maybe we all have too much stuff ??

  • inspirational

  • im building this tonight

  • im building this tonight

  • Awesome! I'm planning on getting one of the Bike Works trailer (the eight footer) ....

  • Dont tell everyone what your items are they like it too. =)

  • great job but how long did you spend boxing items and strapping boxes to go a couple blocks-wherse the freind w/ a ''small truck'' for 1 or 2 loads and some bru

  • You must live in Minnesota there are a lot of bike nerds up here like you.

  • @eatadicc Oh Chicago! Close enough.

  • Oh, that looked so fun!! Of course, I'm watching the video, you did all the labor. I'm thinking about getting a trailer to haul my groceries so I don't have to walk anymore with all the heavy food.

  • I didnt have much, holly cow, you have a ton of stuff! 6 flights fo stairs?

  • i love it nive vid ive had a few trailers myself..its a little weird when EVERYONE stares at you but watev hey at least you didnt have to rent a moving truck

  • I bet you got legs like tree trunks

  • I think I would have just rented a uhaul but I like your style anyhow you have some real friends I would not be able to get anyone to help let alone load it on a bike and tote it updown3? That is a great trailer try to make one with a sliding trailer so once loaded you can slide to balence it just right. I am nearly into a job where I can use a bike as transport. I have a portabote that I plan to rig up to transport by bike will do a video afterward gotta make it work first.

  • i went into this video just thinking you were retarded for moving with a bike, then the first few words out of your mouth confirmed it

  • ??? i think judging from the comment you made. you look the reatrded on on here

  • Nice video. I once used my bike to move items from my dorm in college.

  • I got a Bikes @ Work trailer and love it!

  • thats a cool trailer i like to get it for the moped but if i was going to move all that stuff i get some one with a pick up truck and do 2 loads

  • dude that trailer is AWSOME..please send me plans on how to build that thing :D

  • amazing dude!

  • Cool.

  • Brilliant. Amazing human power combined with bicycling, I'm sure you had the thighs for those stair flights, so don't complain too much, ha, ha. Great stills, it really did feel like a video. Nice job.

  • Your voice sounds like Michael Moore.

If people are interested in work cycles, search "workcycles" or else "bakfiets". They are a dutch company that specialize in cargo bikes and trikes. Very interesting.

  • Bike trailers are brilliant! Just so many uses like, the over day it was late and my friend had gone home and left his bike behind so i cycled it back on my trailer!

  • hahaha

  • I love to see bicycles being used as serious work vehicles, rather than just for fun. I'm about to put up a video about how velomobiles can be designed as cargo 'truck-bikes'.

  • The landlord wouldn't work with you after 7 years? What a jerk. Must say that the video was a lot better than I though it would be. With the commentary and pictures it makes it feel as if it were a video. Nice job.

  • excellent! It's in my favorites...
