  • The terorists must of bricked it hardcore. I think only one of them put up a small fight as opposed to the others trying to hide and getting shot lol

  • is that a reconstruction on that video?

  • @linkohki No it's legit. They were videotaped the whole time they did the operation.

  • The terrorist thought they could simply get away with it and if they didn't they thought nothing would happen to them as they thought the British govt was soft and weak but they didn't expect this, tall scary men in black with gas masks, it looks like something from a horror movie, seriously, it must of been a horrible and terrifying experience for the terrorists

  • The moral of this story is don't fuck with the UK & when terrorists come to this country and they kill people, they're gonna end up in a box. We all like a peaceful life, but to have it we need men & organisations like the SAS to keep a lid on such threats to those. Sometimes direct action is imperative for that very reason. God bless the SAS!

  • 1:32 where did the police officer come out of?

  • @Leevancleff

He was one of the hostages...

  • @Troublesome2008 alright thanks :D did he just manage to escape momenteraly just to attack the terrorist?

  • @Leevancleff

Police Constable Trevor Lock actually had a gun on him during the entire siege. He wouldn't stand a chance against guys with machine guns, so he hid it and waited for the best moment to use it. When the SAS attacked, he pulled out his gun and went after the leader. When the SAS came into the room, the leader couldn't shoot them because he was too busy fighting. Trevor Lock dove to the side so the SAS could get a clear shot. He was awarded the George Medal for his bravery.

  • Love that last line lol

  • haha 76 times! dead, reload, shoot, still dead, reload shoot...

  • @joeltopgun

No he was shot by mutliple people at the same time. Other documentaries are more detailed with the troops interviewed. Their torches alined and fired accordingly. All of them fired on him not just one. That's where 76 comes from.

  • Shot 76 times haha that's quality

  • Bottom line is really.. SAS soldiers do there job, as there told to..

If the british authorities say "send them a message" clearly the sas soldiers deliver..

    apparently 76 messages

  • @jinkjack how can you say going into a building, taking out most of the terrorists except 1 and making sure that all the hostages were safe was easy, the Americans did a mission like that and they'll throw grenades into the room where the hostages are, not trying to save them. Of course Bravo Two Zero was easy, they were the S.A.S. American forces would have surrended after they saw the enemy.

  • There should not be any controversy over the killing of terrorists. Killing terrorists is always the right thing to do.

  • @JoeBro715 footage from outside the building is real, but the action inside must be a reconstruction.

  • Now that is how the world should deal with these assholes... not only muslim but any who try this shit! 76 holes in his body now that is all verification of clear resistance and he deseve every one of them. GOD BLESS!

  • @MrBRITBRIGHT hahahaha amen!

  • "troopers" urgh, the americans can't do special forces properly, and they cant even do a decent documentary on a proper special forces unit.

  • @BenLaParole That's what they're called. troopers. Just like you're called an idiot. Same concept.

  • @SoggySoxSaga you're wrong, just so you know.

  • 76 times WoW

  • @sgtkiko yeah there was a hearing after and they accused a member of the sas of brutality! when asked "why did you shoot him so many times?" the soldier replied "the magazine ran out!!"

  • ha ha ha what overkill you fucking millitant islamist scumbags hey phillipinos take a few lessons from some commandos hey maybe theyll take coke money

  • ha ha ha what overkill you fucking millitant islamist scumbags

  • @brachieboo Why do you think that? Don t you realize those people the SAS shot were trying to force the govt to re impose the original western govt in Iran? Dont you get it? They were against the theocratic regime that just took power. Your all brainwashed..... do you even get the message

  • "A postmortem reveals that he had be shot 76 times". WOW!!!!!! these SAS guys are serious

  • operation nimrod? LOL. Good work by the SAS.

  • LOL WTF some terrorist was shot 76 times?! wtf

  • @fatmannz It's so that even allah can tell them "DAYUM YOU GOT OWNED" after death.

  • 'Postmortem showed he had been shot 76 times'..........Boo - Hoo...

Lesson learn t = Dont commit Terrorist-acts in the UK.............PERIOD.

  • shot 76 times! he deserved every single one.

took 11minutes kill those f@#$ckers, clear a 6 story building and save hostages.

    bloody good work!

  • Must have smelt a bit after 10 years with dead bodies in there.

  • @drgisbest1000 they removed the bodies, guns, everthing. its just they never repaired the building after the seige

  • BBbbbbbrrrrrraaaaapp-ap-ap-ap-ap.

    You're nicked.

  • If the situation calls for 'the final solutioin' - a.ka calling in Spec Ops, if you're a terrorist, you are not coming out alive. That simple folks. Why waste anymore time with them. They made their bed, they can sleep in it! Also sends a good message to any future terrorist not to fuck with us!

  • BTW all SAS personnel now have a 3 inch knife attached to the top left of their assault vests just because of the incident where the grappling SAS member got stuck. At least they bother to learn from their mistakes.

  • 76 bullet? damnn that must s@ck alot.. ahaha f@cken overkill

  • @kintatzu333 A little wastefull of ammo but still a good job.

  • @aqinthe better to overkill then underkill lol

  • @EnragedGoat Yes it is! True words.

  • @EnragedGoat Just glad I wasn't in charge of paying the ammo bill. That will teach that you don't f with the SAS.

  • @aqinthe haha too right mate :)

  • kill em all let allah sort em out , good on ya boys makes me proud to be british!

  • @iansuncoast

    bloody twat

  • This mission was easy. The terrorists were total amateurs.

  • @jinkjack What? the afghan terrorists, the ira, the iraq army ect ect were all amatuers compared to a properly trained army, but give some one a machine gun or hand gun and it matters not how well trained they are, they become very dangerous, how can you say it was easy? spend 2 weeks in an enviroment with a weapon, it will take skill and judgement to take you out.

  • @AnglOsAxOn2 The terrorists were surrendering when they were killed. They had actually thrown their weapons out the window. You can't get much easier than unarmed and poorly motivated terrorists.

  • @jinkjack yea because a grenade falling down the stairs is just a toy right?...

  • @jibberjabberman Yeah with the pin still in. Like I said: 'easy'.

  • @jinkjack amateurs or not i don't think the mission was easy

  • @retox111 Relatively speaking it was easy. Operation 'Eagle Claw' was hard

  • @jinkjack eagle claw was only hard because you did not have the sas there just delta force commandos who r nothing compared 2 the sas

  • @blackhawklee Sure, for the SAS it would have been a stroll in the park, just like the 'Bravo two zero' mission was?

  • its not often that terrorists shit themselves with fear but i guess they must have here

  • The US starts a war & bombs the entire country that supports a terroristgroup, the UK sends the SAS, just like '82 on the Falklands.

  • Fkin Ally

  • It was undoubtly a totally sucessfull mission, but the fact that 1 terrorist was shot 76 times isn't at least unprofessional? It seems like SAS was taking it personal, going for revenge, instead of "tactical neutralization" (or whatever)

  • @leoholsbach - True, but when you consider that Special forces are told to shoot two bursts into the chest and one to the head, and that the guns they were using fire 10 rounds per second....that's at least 30 right there. Now, if two troopers were to fire on an enemy at once, I reckon that'd do it. Just a thought, obvs it may not have gone down like that at all! :)

  • @leoholsbach

Not at all. They had plenty of bullets. Their machine guns fire at a rapid rate so 76 bullets might only mean three short bursts of firing.

  • @keypointist 3 short bursts? You are kidding, right? 76 bullets are 2 magazines and a half.

It's not that I not agree with the guy getting killed, I would have done the same. But get your facts right.

  • @keypointist

3 Short bursts at Whatever rate cant get 76 rounds.

    The mag carries 28/30 rounds.

Short burst is not defined by the time you hold the trigger for, its the calculated split second burst for 2-3 rounds.

  • 76 bullets its okay he had scavenger pro

  • @deemfingtee Nah he had Bandolier. SAS weren't in the second one.

  • @deemfingtee You do realise this is real life and not a shitty little video game.

  • @Jamies2111 you do realise he was a fucking terrorists and deserved every bullet he got. are you trying to tell me i should feel bad for him? and i couldn't give a shit what morals you have about things that happen in 'real life'. keep them to yourself.

  • @deemfingtee I'm not saying that you should feel sorry for the terrorists, but you've got to remember that hostages died as well.

  • @Jamies2111 ps you're right, COD MW2 is a shitty video game. COD4 is way better

  • @deemfingtee LOL

  • @deemfingtee hahaha wot a comment

  • This is why terrorism is very uncommon in this country. If you mess with us, the SAS will kill you DEAD.

  • After reading some of the comments posted allow me to clarify.

Control of a incident has to be handed over officially by the senior police commander before the SAS CT team can be sent in for an assault.

This usually comprises of a written note signed by the PIC.Once the assault has ended control is then handed back to the police for cleanup.

In regards to the "76 rounds" who gives a fuck. The guy was holding a grenade. "If they're worth shooting once, they're worth shooting 76 times".

  • @WalksWithNoFear

    Well said sir.

  • The SAS enforces both written & unspoken rules. YOU DON'T F**K WITH THE BRITISH GOVT. The very moment bastard muslim terrorists start killing innocent civilians, the govt has every right to kill every one of them. Surrendering was no longer an option once they started killing a civilian! The terrorists simply sealed their fate! So f**k the controversy!

  • @joeheng80 They werent muslims they were freedom fighters that were trying to oppose the overthrow of the Shah who was Westernized himself. Godamn you are all so damn dumb. Do you even realize the American govt. is in the process of doing what these people were fighting for, which is the removal of the theocratic regime in Iran. Jesus your all such idiots. Its sickening. Not just you but all these comments. Its just pathetic, dont any of you see the govt has its boot on your neck.

  • @sysopkc they chose to take and kill hostages, so they became targets at that very moments, it doesnt matter what where they fighting for, it matters what they did.

  • @joeheng80 well said mate :)

  • @joeheng80 Wow, way to be rascist asshole. Terrorists aren't Muslims you idiot. Go look up your history.

  • @joeheng80 i understand what you are saying but why do you have to indicate that the terrorists are muslim. the terrorists in that was eliminiated during the nimrod operation was anit muslim ragime in iran. not all terrorists are muslims. as a brit i will not tolerate any terrorists with in our land, but branding terrorists is not right. muslim, christian, jewish, or even buddist, religion in not the part of terrorism.

  • The dude was shot 76 times!? Kinda innefficient! Save your ammo!!

  • Maybe he was so badass it took 76 bullets to kill him.

    Ah.

  • bullshit...they r not stupid enough to shot one guy 76 times.....SAS know how and when to shot, they would not waste such amount of bullets on a dead body, if You tell me they were angry, I will tell you they are Professionals!

  • The SAS are a military unit and are therefore not bound by the constraints placed on civilian law enforcement. The terrorists executed one hostage, threatened the rest with same, and tried to kill the remainder once the assault commenced. The terrorist in the stairwell had a grenade on his person. In such a situation there is no time for such nicities as a fair trial. The terrorists could have ended this thing any time they wanted to by surrendering but they didn't they chose their fate.

  • One of the SAS troopers said, the whole thing was a message, that if you come to Britian and do this, you won't go home, which is why they wanted to execute the last terrorist but a superior stopped them because of the media watching. Apparently when they questioned one trooper in the inquest asking why one terrorist had been shot 76 times he replied 'Because I ran out of bullets.'

  • to the OP, the S.A.S. do have permission to execute those posing a threat to the operation, despite the killing of shai and makki, they were authorized to eliminate the threat and liberate the hostages.

  • not at all cos imagine if he had a gun and started firing and he probably killed the hostages and anyway its good ridance to the terrorists

  • @pashizeh it seems they did manage to discover all the terrorists, and did so without shooting any hostages, as well as leaving one of the terrorists alive and arresting him. these guys train for hours every day to do this, soo i think they can be trusted.

  • i read some were the only reason that one terrorist lived was because the hostages saved hes life thay covered him up when the sas came in to kill him .. the reason why thay done that was because he treated them good ..is there any truth to that ?

  • @leemeires I've never heard that and i doubt it. all the hostages get cuffed anyway, so i'm not sure that would even be possible.

  • @leemeires well i think the main reason was that one SAS member started to drag the terrorist back inside to shoot him but another member said dont do it as your live on TV.and that was said coming from a SAS member in a documentry.

  • Oh please, you cause trouble like this you get whats coming.

If I was the hostage who had been in there for days on end under threat of being killed - if the SAS came in and asked me what I'd like to do - I'd say "shoot the bastards"

The right thing was done - and it was done very well.

  • @pashizeh i dont want to start a stupid online argument but we gave them 5 days to negotiate and have a fair trial lol. then they killed 2 people so we had to up the ante.

  • pashizeh.

they were ordered to kill them all, thatcher gave the order to make an example, a show of force to the world showing the UK wont tolerate it.

no terrorists were supposed to come out alive, the one that did pretended to be a hostage, the hostages pointed him out to be a terrorist and the SAS started taking him back inside to eliminate him but were told to back down as the world media was watching.

  • @pashizeh thats why they are called sas soldiers matey and not civilians, these men are trained to a standard you cannot even imagine to be possible, they know exactly what is what in these situations its their lives. when the sas are called in to deal with terrorists, those terrorists better expert their worst nightmares. the moto is who dares wins. this clip shows you that moto in action. they dare and they win every time. these men will fight to the last man.

  • If the SAS are called in its to eliminate not take prisoners. They can tell who the terrorists are because this is what they are trained for, they dont crack under pressure and even in this situation they keep a level head.

  • @jamesooo123 i could as well, if ur brown they take u down.

  • @pashizeh STFU pshizeh, they were authorized to do so by the british govt. As soon as the op was handed over to the military, the terrorists became enemy combatants, and were eliminated as an example to all those who thought to try that bs again.

  • Postmortem revealed he'd been shot 76 times.

Well I think he may possibly be dead - just a little bit dead.

  • lol XD

  • @pissflap,,ya right m8 he was gunna wack him alrite and would have if the cameras wernt there,,but i remember they picked him up and started to walk back to the embassy to wack him there but then they noticed they were being filmed,,,he served 27 yrs in jail thou

  • Correct me if i'm wrong, but i read somewhere that the trooper who got caught up in his rope at the back, (red team) was a New zealand maori.

  • God save the Queen. Long live the Union!

  • Reading the info in the video description it tells how two of the terrorists had already thrown down their weapons but the SAS shot them.

    I say "Good".

  • theres helicopter footage of the rear of the embassy, after some of the hostage takers tried to hide amongst the hostages, you see an trooper with a hostage going along a line of people laid down, pointing at one of them, you then see the SAS trooper put a boot on the indicated mans back, and raise his gun to the firing point, only for another trooper to tap him on the shoulder and point to the helicopter, causing him to halt the execution.. the Iron lady aparently told them face to face>

  • @thepissflap do you know where I could find that footage?

  • prior to the mission, that she wanted them to "be made example of".

    and they sure were ;)

  • @JanineRobin no ideally it would have been better to capture them and try to glean more information from them? bit I guess in the heat of the moment it's not safe to take a pow with you

  • @JanineRobin ''No plan survives battle''

The general SAS doctrine with terrorism, especially is a case like this when the terrorists are not willing to negotiate and are ready to kill hostages is not to aim at arresting them. It was simply about eliminating the terrorist threat swift and precise. Added with the adrenaline rush brought by combat situation, you really can't avoid situations like this. For what comes to this operation, it could've turned out way worse than it did.

  • @BattleRatProductions

I agree, when you call in the SAS the time of surrender is over. They murdered innocent people and now that all hell is being unleashed upon them they wish to "surrender". Just like the terrorist who "surrendered" to then try and detonate a hand grenade while being extracted by the SAS with the rest of the hostages.

You don't call in the SAS to police a situation you call them in to destroy the enemy quickly, efficiently, and without mercy to save innocent lives.

  • @ViCe1986 too right mate when the sas are called in its miltary law no bullshit!

  • It is just amazing that the terrorist are stupid enough to think that they would succeed in their futile efforts.

  • haha, brilliant.

  • lol did they just empty a magazine on the terrorist leader? sorry the quailty of this vid is bad :P

  • 76 rounds.. more like three mags hahah

  • such overkill of the terrorists in the movie clips lol

  • anybody know the duration time from the blowing of the charges until the securing of the perimeter?

  • 11 minutes

  • 76 times! That means that either 4 guys empied their clips into one guy. Or they stopped to reload to shoot an obviously dead guy. No one would live past 1 clip from a HKMP5.

Still SAS are the worlds greatest.

    Who Dares Wins.

  • obviosly theay dident like him

  • the SAS were told by the then PM, face to face, that these men were to be "made example of"

    hence the brutal overkill.

  • how did the SAS get onto the roof without the terrorists knowing? From what direction and method did they get to the top of the building?

  • walked over from next door

  • LOL - shot 76 times. Good on them.

  • Terrorists are all fags and deserve to die a brutal death. SAS are awesome!

  • Actually, after the raid, the "sleeper" terrorist hiding amongst the hostages was identified, and one SAS trooper was about to take him back inside the embassy to be shot, but the other guys told him not to, because the world's media was watching.

When the SAS are called in, they don't take prisoners.

  • read a book about it, and theres actual footage, the trooper was going to do him right there on the lawn in front of everybody..

    almost PWNED in public

  • @thepissflap

I did. It's called Ghosts: An illustrated story of the SAS, by Ken Connor. That's my source.

  • no i mean, I read a book about it, not YOU should read about it.. heh

  • if the terrorists were watching the news when the assault began, things could've turned out very differently

  • the sas actually insisted on a short delay of the news broadcast than what was actually happening

  • .............every sas tropper has a mp5 with a toch light attach to it and he called the gun hecklers and cock. cock ?????? i thought it was suppose to be kouck and they would not use so many rounds on a person they would use 2 shot otherwise known as the double tap

  • You're right about the double tap, if you put 14 bullets in one guy how you going to kill the other 4... Remakes are accurate and are always made more movie-like.

  • The SAS don't take prisoner's in a CT operation. Its protocol. fuglyno1 is correct albeit a big gruff! Once the SAS are given the go ahead your time on this Earth is coming to an end. Regardless of wether you surrender or not! Only one was taken alive to extract information. If you don't want to die! Don't take hostages in the UK!

  • the whole nation has been taken hostage by the left, no SAS to save your asses

  • fucking right mate

  • Amen.

  • No, one terrorist tried to sneak out with the hostages. He was later identified, captured and sentanced.

  • you people are such twats your like 10 all of u .... i bet u are all at home with a bb gun thinken u are SAS rofl sad cunts

  • Comment removed

  • @tomwilz14

    lol

  • Holy mother mary and Josef 76 times! Thats mean empty a mp5 30round clip into him, reload, empty another one, reload, and then empty another half a mag into him. Or offcourse 3 guys next to each other unloading into the terrorist

  • Comment removed

  • lol, just unloads a dual clip on salim..

  • 76 times ...... FUCK YEAHHH!!!!!! GO SAS!!!!

  • 76 times?! That's the product of adrenaline

  • It was quite nessesary, cus you need to make sure that the terrorist bastard will never ever move again.

people can still run at you even if theyve been shot multiple times in the chest

  • Absolutely. One thing the SAS don't do is "half jobs". Elimiate the threat in no uncertain terms.

    Good job too

  • my grandad took part in that attack ! !!

  • They got what they deserve...Damn rag head savages!!!!!!

  • Got to love Operation Nimrod. A prime example of when they don't fuck around. Shooting the 'terrorists' on the spot whether they were armed or not instead of being like wussy children having to be nice. Action gets stuff done. Might be the wrong thing sometimes, but at least it produces result.

  • 76 times!!!!!!!!! hahahahahhahahhahha it looks like they turned him into minced meat

the way i see it these musies hate us all so why do we have to be nice fuck them just cause they are a minority they should be the ones keepin their heads down fuckin pricks

  • Thought they were exaggerating on this doc with the 'over the top' shooting but its seems a guy was shot 76 times lol ownage. And you could call that unprofessional but we in the UK call that badass, and so do the forensic teams that inspected their weapons!

  • only 1 hostage died in this seige, and it was there first hostage rescue mission so they didnt realy no wot they were doin, so they just followed there training

  • "Also, the SAS did a shitty job"

Tell that to their faces, dickhead

  • This was the first hostage rescue operation of it's kind ever. After this the British SAS were on high demand from allies around the world.... seems the rest of the world doesn't agree with your "expert" opinion that "the SAS did a shitty" job.

  • hey 'Shit OnZionism', classy name by the way! iff you think the SAS did a crap job. how in your 'expert' opinion, did the EGYPTIAN 'Force 777',do in Sept 1985 when they caused the deaths of 57 hostages during the assault on EGYPT AIR flight 648 in MALTA? the stupid bastards fired on escaping passengers outside the plane!! the ISRAELI'S at ENTEBBE,GERMANY' GSG-9 at MOGADISHU, FRANCE'S GIGN in DJIBOUTI,THE ROYAL DUTCH MARINES in HOLLAND and 22ndSAS. they all made mistakes and still WON!!

  • and for the record, why should any foreign power waste it's time murdering any IRAQI or AFGHAN? innocent or otherwise! the TALIBAN and Saddam's ex-henchmen have been doing a good job of it themselves for year's!! so EAT a POUND OF PIGSHIT and go FUCK YOURSELF!!!

  • poor hostages well done sas be the best!.

  • Muslim extremists and Muslims are different??

Yes...one is guilty od terrorism...the other is an accesory.

I've never seen not even ONE moderate Muslim EVR call for Extremist Muslim to stop terrorism...so they are ALL guilty by association.

  • not true. they are different indeed.

  • dear terrorist

    don't fuck with the SAS

  • they messed up with the first decoy explosion =[

  • a terrorist shot 76 times is a good thing.

  • is this real video or just reconstruction video ?

  • reconstruction of course

  • parts of it are real

  • Some of it is real. The part where they blow the windows out is definitely real.

  • no one trusts muslims havent you figured that out yet. iran is one of the most anti western countrys in the world.

  • No-one trusts muslims because of the horrible stereotype that places like the USA give out. Muslim extremists and Muslims are completely different.

  • After the terrorist with the grenade was killed, he dropped the grenade. One of the SAS troopers actually dived onto the grenade in case it was armed, so his body would absorb most of the blast if it went off.

  • Now THATS what i call a hero

  • the only reason that the embassy was left alonne for the next 10 years was because they hadnt paid the insurance!!!lol

they had it up on the wall and someone nicked it on the way out epic
