  • What idiot needs sheet music for a quartet a capella? Just listen to the parts.

  • Of all the a capella groups on youtube doing Hide And Seek, yours is the best balanced and executed, in my opinion. Very pretty, and beautifully done.

  • This is probably the best acappella version of the song I've found on youtube.

  • O_O Great basses.

  • Beautiful

  • AMAZING! It was just the right pace and notes, if only it were recorded with a better camera so the sound was clear.

  • Wow... that was PERFECT. Shame the person recording it appears to have parkinsons...

  • Are you kidding? Achordants have incorrect harmonies, and the the guy that conducts is a drama queen, BYU Vocal Point are Light years beyond these little college groups. Nuf said........are you a thug? speak english.

  • if someone finds the sheet music for this can they please send it to me or something!!! you guys were amazing

  • Absolutely Perfect!

  • ahh i miss setnor!

  • just kidding....i just read the description haha sorry.

  • could i please have a copy of this arrangement? i can't seem to find it anywhere.

  • fenominal!

  • im guessing thats an exact science eh?

dissonance doesnt mean its wrong, you might not like it though.

  • this was really good =]

  • hey can i have the sheet music? hahahahah bitch!

  • lol

  • this is really great!

is there anyway i could have the arrangement for this?

i am in a acapella jazz group and we would LOVE to do this before we all graduate in the spring!

  • you guys should listen to the achordants sing this. its a male group that pretty much got all of the original parts. but this is nice also! ;)

  • agreed; the achordants was the first arrangement I heard--it blew me away. i wish the sound quality on this version was a bit better though, it sounds really good.

  • I want this song to be playedon my funeral :')

  • Could have been a better video, but....

HOLY WOW! What great vocals!!! 0__0 Probably THE best A Capella version I have ever heard on youtube. Or ever. =D Great job to the singers!!!

  • Stellar performance! MUCH better than UCLA'S version.

  • Very very good. I havent heard many choirs do this song justice, and you girls definately did. : )

  • i agree- pretty much the best i've heard!

  • I can hear someone buy the camera breathing. xD

I think you ladies sound beautiful. Gorgeous. I just wish I could see you a little better. Lol.

  • These ladies should hook up with The Achordants...that would be sweet!

  • I aggree with Oscar if they got together it would be crazy

  • So you saw their video too, i got chills, so good lol

  • The best

  • it was just a joke...geeze...

  • haha. had to say it. i was jk

  • I think this video would be much better without the camerman breating into the mic.

  • be happy its up at all. I had to run across campus to make it in time for their performance. so I was little out of breath.

  • A valiant effort, indeed! One's best is all we can ask for. Thank you for posting the video.

  • ha.

  • @cmville05 It seems to be very difficult to hold a camera... hähähähähä some people can, others can´t :-)

  • whats with the crappy comment?

  • oh god, thank you for actually singing the high notes unlike some other arrangements. it is, after all, the melody.

  • nothing like the achordants

  • This was excellent, prob the best all girl version. But as for the BEST collegiate version, I'd have to give that to the all guy Achordants. Good work though.

  • i agree.

  • this version was beautiful but i have to say that my favorite is by UO Divisi. the choreography was breathtaking!

  • yeah it was!

  • The Achordants is just so... can you say anything but WooW!

  • The Achordants had someone conducting. This is different those who went without and relied on practice and purely vocal communication. All are impressive in their own ways.

  • True, but it's not as though every member of the Achordants could see him. Besides, conductor or not, you still have to rely on practice and internal communication. To say that this is better because no one was conducting is crap. This is an amazing all girls collaboration, but my love is with the Achordants. Sorry ladies.

  • Have you ever sung with an acappella group? From personal experience, performing any song without someone conducting is much more difficult than with. Even if each member is not looking directly at the conductor they can see his/her hand movements out of the corner of their eye. If you like The Achordants choppy attack of this song that's fine, but don't discount the fact that The Mandarins can do it without a conductor.

  • Yes, quite frequently, since I'm involved in 3 of them. And in all of them, sometimes we do not have the privilege of having our conductor present. It is a talent in and of itself to be able to sing well, as the members of this group do, without a conductor. I am not discrediting their proformance, nor am I disproving their talent. I am simply saying, that with or without a conductor, I profer one group over another. That is my point.

  • i would agree too. i wish there was a high quality vid of the anchordants singing this.

  • Wow. That's pretty. [:

  • ohmann, this is so good! girl power! too bad we cant hear the whole thing :[

  • this isn't the whole thing, I only recorded 2 minutes of it

  • This group sounds about the best I've heard so far. Maybe a tiny flub here or there, but I too wish I could at least hear that high part. Good job! Glad the camera had a good mic at least, ha ha!

  • this is better-done than most choir versions I have heard, but I wish it didn't end early like that!

  • Wow. This is well done.

  • this is such a great arrangement!!

by far the best i've heard so far

  • I love this. great song.

  • I'm not sure how anybody figures this is even close to the best cover of this song. Bass is one of the most vital parts of this song and they have none. Additionally, their second rate film equipment does 'Cuse no favors...perhaps they should stick to football. Oh...wait...

  • bad acappella, bad film equiptment, bad football. poor syracuse, what are we gonna do. :(

  • i didnt think it was bad i liked it thanx for uploadin it

  • Bad audio/video quality, so what, I have seen every rendition of this song on youtube and it is most assuredly the best one. I really cant imagine it being much better without using the Digitech WS. You have to remember that the original is only one take of one person, harmonized digitally by a machine. They did a great job.

  • Quite a few of the chords just don't work.

  • define "don't work"

    its art, not science.

  • :14 seconds on 'fall'

  • It's well done none the less

  • i love this song!!! you guys are good!

  • by far the best acapella of hide and seek. :)

  • great job!!! just wish it was the whole song :)...I love the part that says "ransom note keep falling out your mouth...mid-sweet talk newspaper word cut-outs..."

  • where did you get the arrangement?

  • Pretty much the best cover I've heard on this song

  • While I can agree that the Achordants sound is more rounded out because of the bass I'm not a fan of their approach to the song. Their diction and performance is too intense, losing the smooth flowing charm of the song, that the Mandarins are able to capture very well.

  • point taken.

  • wheres the "what did she say part" idiots thats the best part of the song

  • its in the arrangement i just didnt record it

  • ahhh you fool!

  • uh, the mandarins are a purposely female group and have a complete sound with out men. there are tons of all female groups in collegiate acappella, some of which have won the international acappella championship.

and imogen heap's original Hide & seek is only female voices.

  • the original is synthesized from her voice. i believe she uses a vocoder but the only voice singing is female. and also i think this cover is very well done

  • Wow, so many groups keep asking people to spnnnn them 'round again.

  • if you like this look up the same song with divisi

  • Amen!

  • the actual tune's got a bit lost in there. lovely blend though

  • This is absolutely gorgeous. I'd love to hear the song in its entirety though. :<
