the purposly sending viewers to a youtube video saying it was a hologram(on another segment on cnn) was dilberatly misleading..they also mentioned 2 others one of which was jesica beamed into studio,think the other was called star trek meats cnn or something like that ...all 3 were misleading labeled and at no point did they say it wasnt true lol

CNN just showed how they did this..just a circular green room surrounded by 40 cameras..she cannot be seen by wolf except on the monitors..He is just looking above the red dot on the floor because that is the only way he knew where to look so you couldn't touch her. The hologram is only picked up in the cameras. Notice she doesn't walk around. The camera angles can change only.

It's just something a Norwegian company helped CNN with. CNN told them to make it look worse than it original was due to the fact that it looked like the person was actually in the studio. CNN wanted the Starwars look.

I do not believe she is a hologram. I do not believe she is there as a visual presence that Blitzer sees, regardless of how he shills. She's being recorded from 360° but it is no different that the floating graphics CNN and MSNBC have digitally processed into the output. It's like some (rather old) weather forecasting images, a green screen with the announcer looking at a monitor to see what the audience sees. In short, I believe it to be a gimmick.

I am not sure it doesn't exist, only that this example is not such. There's some interesting stories out on the techology news websites about virtual meetings with truly interactive projections. But yeah, this is no holigram any more than the MSNBC floating map is a hologram. Why not just use the giant superscreens in the back anyway?
