UnderTheMayo, your tutorial is eloquent and intelligent. I'm amazed how you've broke down this one character with math and logic.

If more people did this with other characters, the amount of stuff discovered would be mind boggling.

i think if you want to build more metre after a rune trap you can do another 2 1 2 normal rune, then a D4 into another rune. Im not about to fugure how much more that builds but if the D4 whiffs, the rune wont come out and its pretty much impossible to whiff punish.

@CPTG0dK1lleR Because he's not my style. He's simply been my favorite character since mk4. Doesn't mean that his mk9 playstyle fits me as a player. I love Quan, and the scientific way you can play him really interests me. I simply prefer to play differently. I continue to work on Quan for the true Quan mains, to deliver them more tools, because it really excites me to make the discoveries and then see them implemented. I discover plenty for kenshi as well, and I'm happy to main him

I planned to unlock Quan and main him the day I got Mortal Kombat, I'm glad to say I still enjoy using him this day and seeing you push him even further Mayo, magnificent job.

@BehindTheLight99 Yes, that's been the whole basis of the rune trap since the game came out. And the heart of Quan's gameplan. That's what makes his meter building so unique. Who cares how much meter you build on block when you're playing any other character? With Quan, it's everything!

@SkinnykidK5 Great question. I main Kenshi. With Sektor as a secondary. I absolutely love to play Sheeva, though I'm not amazing with her. Those are really the only characters I dedicate serious time too. I don't like spreading myself out.
